This is so amazing! I was not keen to go at first - have taken cable car to go to peaks such as Whistler where the view in summer I found not that spectacular. I am glad my husband persuaded to go as it was absolutely amazing. The kids were so excited, built a snowman and had snowball fight. We... More

Words cannot describe the view of these beautiful peaks. The cable car ride was smooth and we were happy they ran every 30 minutes. We enjoyed lunch at the restaurant. The food was good. I saw hikers in the area and would love to have done that. However, I wasn't prepared for the altitude. Hiking is not something to do if... More

Like: Transport pass is received from hotel. Free to go up to Diavolezza by taking the Bernina Express.

The views were breathtaking from getting on the train in St. Moritz to arriving at the cable car to going up to the viewing area & back again.

We went to Diavolezza in May. The weather in St Moritz was nice and warm but at the top the sun was really hot. We got really sunburnt so be warned! Got the train from St Moritz to Bernina Diavolezza then cable car to the top. Absolutely fantastic views. There were very few people there so it felt like we... More

Spectacular views! It was the only open cable car in May. Free wifi in the restrurant up on the mountain but food was very expensive. Interestingly there was an outdoor jacuzzi right on the terrace.

When we reached St Moritz during our 12 day vacation in Switzerland, we were disappointed to know that the Cable Cars to the tallest peak in that region Piz Bernina is closed. On the Front Office Staff's advice at Hotel Schweirhoff where we were staying we decided to take a train from St Moritz to Bernina Diavolezza and we did... More

Wonderful late season snow thanks to the altitude. Small field compared to its St. Moritz cousins. Good for a half day.

Yes Diavolezza has spectacular views and is a must see, but if you choose to ski the glacier from the top of the lift, be prepared for some challenging skiing. There is a narrow traverse from the top of the mountain to the glacier that is a little intimidating because of the steep drop off. Once at the top of... More
