Diavolezza is a bit of a drive up from St Moritz. When we were there the snow levels were low and access to the slopes was only cable car. The 2 sides of the resort were not linked due to poor snow cover. the 2 runs available were great fun. An 8 minute blast! As skiing in St Moritz is... More

Great spot for skiing, not to stay the whole day but a morning of skiing is great. Starting from the top if the Glacier down the 10km of slope. The snow was good quality and not many skiers.

It only takes a while to reach the base station of the cable car station. We had our Swiss Pass and it was free for us to get up there. We didnt ski up there but its still worth the visit. The cafe up on the summit serves hot yummy Coatina. One cannot miss it.

One of the most spectacular cable car rides in the world. When you arrive at the top you will enjoy amazing scenery. Great place to visit whilst in St Moritz or nearby.

A quick scenic train ride from St Moritz takes you to the base of the mountain with the gondola ride beside the station. The gondola holds 30? with great 360 views. At the top, the cafeteria has great food with inside and outside ( picnic table seating). Well worth the visit.

My mum and I stayed nearby in beautiful St Moritz and very easily took an efficient train right to the base of the mountain where we took the cable car to the top. The views on the way up and at the top were simply stunning and we had great fun taking photos and playing in the snow. The restaurant... More

Take a gondola ride up and enjoy beautiful views. Hang out at the restaurant for a hot cocoa and soak it in. Train stops at limited times so plot ahead.

The drive up the mountain is best suited for an auto with some horsepower as it is very steep. Once there or along side the road you will have some great photo ops.

We have visited St. Moritz in Aug and we also travelled uphill by cable car to view the glaciers at Diavolezza as well. For locals and some visitors, they just walked uphill via the meandering hillpath. Mountains at Diavolezza were about 2093-2978M high and whether you could see beautiful glaciers there would depend on weather. When we arrived uphill, it... More
