The train station was very interesting. The east side of a platform was for trains bounced for Wengen. The west side was for trains for Grindelwalt. There were cafés and souvenir shops around the station. The landscape was very good.

Even in rainy drizzly weather, hiking this area was awesome. Up close and personal views of the Eiger. Some of the waterfall crossings are a bit challenging. Catching a small avalanche off of the EIger was a special treat. The wildflowers are in full bloom this time of year as well.

It was beautuful. We ate delicious soup and rosti lunch and we hiked around. We saw huge groups going up to Jung but were denied tickets, yet empty trains were going back up to Jungfrau at 4 pm. Very disappointing since we left hotel at 10 am and took the long way up, due to a rock on the train... More

In late June 2014, we hiked from Wengen to Kleine Scheidegg, which was fantastic all the way around. We were told there was snow on the trail a few weeks before that, but the snow was gone from the trail and the flowers were in bloom. When we reached Kleine Scheidegg, we were able to enjoy a nice lunch and... More

We thought of doing Top of Europe but at either 135 or 170 franc per person we made different choice. Took train from Grindelwald to Klein Scheidegg then to Lauterbrunner to Zweilutschinen and back to Grindelwald for 135 two people. Just to Klein and back is 55 franc. The view is spectacular of Jungfrau. You can walk all day or... More

Rode the train from Lauterbrunnen through the mountains and stopped off for lunch. Still lots of snow and gorgeous mountain views, several restaurants to choose from and a gift shop. Great place to get closer to the mountains - great photography stop.

Our visit to the area was not for skiing, although it looked spectacular. I had come to stay in Lauterbrunnen before and took my kids sledging (sledding) up in Murren and wanted to do it again on a trip here with friends. Murren didn't have enough snow, so we headed up to Kleine Scheidegg. The sporting shop at the train... More

When we arrived and stepped off the train, the surroundings were beautiful. We are beginner skiers and had a great time skiing at the beginner's park. There is a cute igloo that you can ski through which is great fun. There is also a magic carpet. There are more advanced trails and sledding trails as well. The best part is... More

This was our second visit to the Bernese Oberland and we were staying in Wengen which is halfway up the Jungfrau mountain range. Kleine Scheidegg is where trains from Wengen and Grindelwald meet up and from here you can catch the joining train up to the Top Of Europe from here. It is also is the starting or ending point...
