Not as freezing as Jungfrau, children love it the most as they can play in the snow and enjoy being their own.

Great place to ski! We have been skiing these slopes for many years. There is a great variety of slopes for everyone - from beginners to advanced. There are many slopes as well. The views from Kleine Scheidegg are breath-taking. If you don't go to ski, it is just as worth going simply for the views.

This is the place from where the final train journey to Jungfraujoch - Top of the Europe begins. There is a tri junction, with trains coming up from Wengen and Grindlewald- two sides of the mountain system here and the Top of the Europe train going up to Jungfraujoch. Couple of restaurants and views of the mountains.

We simply love this place- we even love it's name. It is true- this is really simply a transfer point for trains and a starting point for hikes. But so what? It is located in a classic high elevation valley with great views and easy access to the mountain hikes that we crave. And as a side issue, the organizers... More

It is very easy to hike this area, as the hills are gently rolling and beautifully covered by alpine grasses, flowers, and cows with giant clanging bells. Save a whole day to hike this area up, down, across as your skills warrent and you will be incredibly rewarded! Do dress in layers as you may get overheated hiking!

This town is the idyllic Swiss mountain town. It is quaint with some great restaurants and shopping. I would love to return just to stay in this town.

We took a direct train from Lauterbrunnen to KS. From here we took the train to Jungfraujoch. On the way back we lingered a bit here to admire the views before going back. Mannlichen-KS trek is scenic
