I am Swiss and I have been many, many times in Grindelwald over the past 20 years and I was just interested to have a look what people all over the world are thinking about it. Bachalpsee an easy walk from "First" Station above Grindelwald. Good sandals/shoes required. Hiking shoes recommended if you continue on to Faulhorn from Bachalpsee. Again, a fairly easy path, however quite steep at times. Hiking poles from Bachalpsee to Faulhorn would be helpful. (Don't forget altitude)The view at Bachalpsee is breathtakingly beautiful.
