Incredible place. Food and beer were good too! Pity! I would been there longer. I forgot to talk more photos there so I need to go back there again! Lol

Grindelwald First is one of three ski fields in the Jungfrau region, and is much better than I was expecting based on other reviews of the Internet. Although it is further from the Eiger than the Wengen ski area, it is arguably more scenic since while skiing down three mountains are in front of you. It is the easily the... More

First is beautiful! I'm a rookie skier, so it was WAY out of my league (and it would have been nice to know that before hauling ski gear up). But there are tons of slope options and a great restaurant. My wife and I enjoyed it.

It's all about the views, yes the skiing is great from here, but it's the panorama that bewitches you: The Eiger is of course magnificent, but from here the Wetterhorn dominates with its, what must be, equally challenging rock faces for climbers. So don't just rush through to the next piste, find a quiet spot, take five minutes and just... More

Lots of trekking paths, scenic beauty and activities to do. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for cold/harsh weather at the top. Definitely try the restaurant at the top with the open balcony seating... we had some piping hot potato rosti with a great view of the snow clad alps and it was mind blowing!!! Keep in mind the last... More

We spent one day skiing at First and while my husband skied another day, I enjoyed the walking. It was a beautiful day and the scenery is breathtaking. It is worth the 15/20 minutes to take the Cliff walk. Breathtaking! The restaurant is self service and very good- reasonably priced. There is also a nice gift shop. A great day... More

A great ride and well worth the trip to the top. There is a small restaurant and a great all round view once up there.
