We caught the slow express from Chur. What can you say about such a fantastic day. The views are stunning and the line is a feta of amazing engineering. Would really recommend a visit if you are in Switzerland.

Wonderful train trip during the winter season. I started from Chur and I arrived to Saint Moritz. Amazing landscape of valley and bridges

Took the Bernina the full length of the route from Switzerland into Italy and pretty much looked out of the window for the whole four hours without once getting bored. The scenery was just so beautiful, and it was amazing to go from beautiful greenery into snowy winter wonderland and back again. Would definitely recommend it.

Did this train journey as part of a coach tour from Lake Como last week. What an amazing trip. Joined the train at Torino on a bright and sunny day. The journey to St Moritz took about 2.15hr and was well worth the money. Stunning views with snow capped houses looking more like iced cakes. Managed to get a view... More

What a great experience and amazing scenery. My wife and son and I left from Milan Central early in the morning for Torino. Caught the 9:40 Bernina Glacial Express train to St. Moritz. Just amazing scenery, tunnels, switch-backs and more. After making it to St. Moritz, we had lunch at Stuevetta right as you exit the station. After a tour... More

There are several things to do in St. Moritz even if you don't like to ski/snowboard; or maybe you just need a rest period for your legs; the Bernina express is the perfect way to spend the day; the trip and view of the mountains and valleys are incredible; when I took the journey the last top was in Tirano... This is one heck of a train ride. I booked the ride in multiple parts. I first buy Trenord tickets that took me from Milan to Tirano. That took about two hours. We left at 10am roughly and arrived around 12.30pm at Tirano. Perfect time to have an hour to lunch there. From there we took the Bernina Express just... More

We booked an excursion from Milan, full day with the Bernina express up to St Moritz, just great, we rode in a winterwonderland, one view more spectacular the the next or the previous. Very comfy and warm, big panoramic windows, just great. We would do it again today if we could. St Moritz ??? well nothing special, it reeks of... More

This is one trip that lived up to all the hype. The train was comfortable and the ' Panoramic cars' allowed us amazing views of the mountains. the staff on board were helpful and friendly, the snack / drinks trolley visited our car regularly and it was reasonably priced, choice was limited though. I took my 8 year old grand... More

We took the train from St Moirtz (having arrived on the Glacier Express) and went onto Tirano. The journey is scenic and beautiful and the short duration makes it truly enjoyable (vis-a-vis Glacier Express which takes 7 hrs+). The views are truly spectacular. Once the train starts, just sit back, enjoy your wine & cheese (carry your own bottle) and... More
