An amazing place. Waterfalls look very impressive. There is a boat that can take you inside it for money. So you can see seething foam near you. The fish in the water is very huge!

What an experience! This is one of Switzerland's must-sees and we found it well worth visiting. We got a combined ticket for the boat across from Schlössli Wörth and entry to Schloss Laufen, the viewing platforms and the lift for Fr. 7.50 which was tremendously good value. We visited from Basel and our journey cost only €27 return for the... More

I had a wonderful day trip with my grandfather. Taking the boat across and to the rock in the middle is a must!

Our visit here was a last-minute decision after we realised all the museums we wanted to see in Zurich were closed on a Monday. We took the train to Schaffhausen and then jumped on a bus to the falls. There we purchased a 'combi' ticket for 17CHF which got us a boat trip out to the lookout over the falls,... More

Beautiful views, the boat trip was a lot of fun, got some great pictures. Would have liked to walk around more but we were too hungry and the (lovely looking) restaurant was a little expensive so we moved on.

Europe's largest waterfalls, well worth a visit. Be sure to buy all three boat trips for the complete view of the falls!

We went there on Aug 16 when that was the rare sunny day during the month. The waterfall was roaring loud. Taking the boat trip to the middle of tall rock in the middle of the waterfall is highly recommended. We experienced hailstone fall when we climbed up to the top. With the sunny weather and the humidity, we saw... More

Beautiful place to visit, waterfalls were just gushing. We were there last year when the water levels were very high in the Rhine River and there was no boat access to the rock in the center of the waterfalls since the water was so crazy, that was disappointing as we would have liked to climb to the top to the... Wonderfull place to be . However you have to be very cautious for pickpockets.I have been all over the world, even the places famous for pickpockets , but this is the first time that I became a victim of a merciless pickpocket who stole my wallet on the last day of our family vacation in Switzerland.Since I lost all my credit...
