I visited the Rheinfall last week for the second time in my life and was stunned by the sheer power of this waterfall. It looks like nothing too special on the pictures, but it is in fact the most powerful waterfall in Europe (debatable with Dettifoss in Iceland). A boat ride is a must and it is surprisingly affordable for... More

We (family of 4) decided to do Rhine falls on the day we landed in Zurich. Got the train straight away from the airport and within an hours time we were at the place. It was a picturesque location. Nice place to spend half a day. Enjoyed every minute of it.

This was the main thing in Switzerland I wanted to do and after passing by on the train on the way to Winterthur I couldn't wait to visit. If you want to enter the viewing area you need a ticket so you need to get the lift up to the castle and head towards the carpark. The tickets are 5... More

Heard it biggest waterfall in Europe. But after seeing Niagara falls this one is just teen falls. But being in swiz and not seen Rheinfall is not a good idea. If you stop by Zurich definately visit this place.

~My boyfriend and I used Germanwings blind booking, and got sent to Zurich, Switzerland! During our third day in Switzerland, we decided to pay Rhine Falls a visit in the morning- and boy was I glad we did! The feeling there was magical and I could have spent the whole day just watching the water flow. The scenery there is... More

This waterfall is the largest in Europe. It was nice to go on a boat near the waterfall and also climbing the rock in the middle. I loved it.

As part of our summer vacation, we visited the Rheinfalls. While there we took the purple boat tour with the audio guide which was great as it went over all the various features around with the river (highly recommended) Food is little bit of a tourist trap prices (to be expected) but not bad for a quick lunch Highly recommended,... ReinFall was the last location we had visited on our Swiss Tour and i think we had kept the best for the last...Amazing Waterfalls...you can go very close to the waterfalls by walking only almost you can touch the water and the water rush is amazing. There is a ferry available but i skipped due to the big queue. We... More
