It was so beatiful that it seems unreal; just by watching the waterfall you get in mediation; There a mini ferries which drives the tourists near the best view of the waterfall, just take this and dont return with the next, I watched and get in meditaion and took the next 3.rd ferry back.

I was in Zurich and I had a whole morning to kill before my flight and decided to check out the largest waterfall in Europe! Bought the after 9am all zone ticket for 26 CHF and the trip took about an hour with a transfer at winterthur. The waterfall itself is not as large as I expected it to be... More

This is a must see, the trip there is also really good as you get to see some beautiful Swiss countryside and then you get to the falls, wow, I couldn't wait to get into the boat that takes you to the rock right at the base of the falls. You climb up some pretty steep stairs but at the... More

This is quite a sight. Visitors can visit both side of the falls and take a boat out to the center. Each side offers a different experience. The south side allows the visitor to get right up close to the falls with a balcony suspended out over the river. The north side allows the visitor to take in the beauty... More

Visited here on a trip from Germany to Zurich and well worth the stop. Spectacular views of the falls as you arrive by road. You can get a boat to the base of the falls or the rock in the middle (old original part of the falls), but I stayed uphill and walked around as the photo opportunities were better... More

This is no Niagara Falls, but that is almost a good thing because it's not surrounded by casinos, chain restaurants and cheesy shops. There is a ton of parking and it is a lovely place to do a little exploring. My boyfriend and I loved the sausages from the carts right beside the falls and spent the whole morning admiring... More

The biggest waterfall in Europe, 40' by car from Zurich 10' from Germany. 15 euros for getting in the falls and going up the hill to take a photo.

I wasn't aware just how amazing the first sight of this waterfall would be... It blew me away! Lots of car parking (about €3-4 for a couple of hours) and a visitors centre. You can choose to get a boat straight to the bottom of the falls or, as we did, take a long walk around the area to the... More

The Rhine Falls is great for a daytrip if you are in the area. On the northern bank of the falls there are several viewing spots where you can get a view of the surge of the massive amounts of water that pours down the waterfall, plus lots of photo opportunities. You can also go by boat to climb the... More
