Don't miss this if you are in St. Gallen. It is quite a spectacular little room. I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because they don't allow photography, and also because I've seen Stift Melk in Melk, Austria, which is bigger and more magnificent (Stift Melk allow photographs to be taken). More

The room with the old library is amazing, we were lucky to join a guided tour explaining what we could see. The guided tour was well worth it (included in the price) as otherwise you wouldn't know or understand as much of the place.
