This is a place one must go in Luzern. The chapel bridge is an old Swiss beauty and there is old Luzern town right behind it. It was a lovely experience to click photos here and go into the old town for shopping. One take a ride in horse cart or enjoy the road side music and do lots of... More

It's one of the city's most famous place, and it is a lovely bridge above Lake Lucerne. It's wooden walls and red flowers just make a perfect scenario with Lake Lucerne's beautiful blue water.

The chapel bridge is an iconic landmark in Lucerne. It is a nice place to walk through and tons of restuarants in the area.

the Chapel Bridge is my highlight of my day trip to Lucerne. This is a beautiful bridge that you cannot miss when you walk in Lucerne. The bridge is full of flowers with nice painting. There are plenty of ducks and swans around the bridge. I really love that city.

This is a beautiful landmark on the river in the old town of Lucerne, If you visit Old town, you would not miss that. I recommend experience the bridge during the day and night because the bridge is very photogenic both during the day and evening. There were paintings in the underside of the roof depicting some battle scenes throughout... More

This bridge makes the view here. Well really it has a lot of help from the mountains and the city, but it is striking and stunning and it felt like stepping back into the middle ages while walking it.

The Chapel Bridge is a hi-lite of Lucerne; probably the most photographed attraction in Lucerne. It's a must see. Take note of the paintings in the underside of the covering over the bridge. The swans at either end of the bridge are beautiful.

We took the walking tour and a main part of it was about the chapel bridge, how it burned and the meanings of the paintings. They keep the flowers tended well and the walk is beautiful

It's a lovely wooden bridge dating from 1333. Beside it is the octagonal Water Tower (Wasserturm, 13th C.), once part of the town's fortifications which served as a prison/torture chamber. Many people were trudging through the bridge with nary a look... Do look up and enjoy the painted triangular frames... these date to 17th century... actually there are only 30... More
