Take the time and read the story of the bridge. It's a real experience to walk across such an old bridge, although everything is old compared to Australia

This charming and iconic bridge is one of the first landmarks I notice as I was taking the bus from the main train station to our hotel. Located in the Old Town and next to the train station, you simply cannot miss it. We took a morning walk here and took some time just to look at the swans, ducks... More

This old wooden bridge is a landmark by itself. A nostalgic feeling while walking through a cross this wooden bridge from one side of this beautiful river to the other and find white swans playing around in the river below. Don't forget to look at the old paintings on the arches inside. Also a perfect place for photography.

This place has got some mysterious attraction, I so much wanted to see this bridge and spend time. I could only spend an hour due to parking restriction ( Very busy town for traffic and car parking) You have to visit this place to be a part of this mystery. Lucerne is a lovely city. You have to walk an... More

Don't forget to look up to the eaves to see what's left of the beautiful 17th century artwork. A great photo op in old town Lucerne any time of day.

A very beautiful and pictureque bridge with the town in the background. Just walkable distance from the train station and very romantic place to spend the evening with your loved ones.

What a shame that it burnt down a while ago but Lucerne certainly did a great job in restoring this historic piece of walkable art. There is a great pub on your left hand side when you get off the bridge coming from the direction of the train station.

A bridge you must go if you are staying in Lucerne for the first time. Rich history behind this bridge as well as a lovely scenery that goes well into the sunset.

Can't miss the famous wooden bridge in old town Lucerne. Lovely any time of the year. Look for the paintings in the rafters.
