Very nice

An old Bridge and lovely walk. So many people from all over the world. I am just in love with Lucerne. You should go or at least stop by.

Although I guess it looks much better when it's decorated with flowers during spring it thing it look good when lit up in the night. Can see in the pic I uploaded. Also, you have nice swans swimming in the lake so that looks amazing and pretty

Quite a cute pretty bridge, but sadly a bit touristy. Worth a walk across though. There are a few interesting facts about the paintings above and the fire that broke out too.

We visited Lucerne in Oct 2015 and the bridge was closed for repairs (fire?). There was very limited access to the bridge - with one end closed off. I was at least expecting to see the bridge adorned with flowers, but that was not the case. It did, however, serve as a quaint background for selfies.

A nice place for a beautiful stroll to take in the sights of Luzern. You can really get sense of its history.

The chapel bridge was long and wide, full of tourists and a souvenir shop too. The parapet of the bridge had lovers' names engraved on it. People were clicking pictures at the bridge.

We stayed two nights at Hotel Astoria on Pilatusstrasse. It was a short walk to the 14th Century medieval Chapel Bridge, one of the oldest covered wooden bridges in Europe. From there, we were in the heart of Lucerne with sophisticated shopping and restaurants. Unfortunately, our schedule only permitted us to cross it at dusk or dark and we were... More

The Kapellbrucke is justifiably the iconic structure in Lucerne. It is beautiful and charming, although it doesn't get five stars from me because the famous paintings along the ceiling were taken down for restoration when I visited. Worth a quick stroll for anyone, but I actually preferred the Spreuerbrucke just a bit farther down the river since its paintings are... More

I didn't expect the bridge to be so close to the central station. it's really convenient for tourist, you don't have to go anywhere or take public transport to find the bridge. The bridge is really unique and beautiful. I love the paintings along the ceiling and the view of the snowy mountain from the bridge.
