This is pretty much the only thing I knew about Switzerland when I went over. It didn't disappoint. We didn't walk on it because we had somewhere to be, but it was magical. There's not many things I think are magical, but this is one of them. Amazing. :)

Simply beautiful. Great photo opportunity! Stands out in Lucerne with its bright flowers and endless stream of passengers walking across it.

Sept. 2013 We took a bus tour of UK for our 50th wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed walking across this bridge. Its even interesting just sitting at the end and watching the tourists. Cap & Virginia

Interesting and attractive feature of the town, it made for a great photo opportunity both of the bridge and from the bridge.

Even though I saw many pictures of Lucerne and the Chapel Bridge before I actually visited there, I was still very happy and impressed to see it and walked over it in person. Lucerne is very touristy and expensive. But it was still the most beautiful swiss city we visited this time comparing with Zurich, Bern, Baseline and Geneva.

Lovely bridge and looking beautiful bedecked in flowers. Such a shame it had to be heavily restored after a fire but they have done a good job. If you cross over and walk along the other bank there is another similar bridge further up and well worth a look if you have time.

This is one of the most photographed sites in Lucerne and all of Switzerland . Inside the bridge are a number of old paintings that survived a fire some years ago- they depict life in earlier times in lucerne. The flowers on the outside are gorgeous!

There are 3-4 bridges that cross the river – this is the loveliest in my opinion due to the flowers on the outside. Walk across each and makes getting to ‘both sides’ of the Saturday market easier. The last bridge, Mill Bridge, is also quite nice.
