Its so nice to cross the river using this bridge. A great spot to take pictures of the surrounding scenery!
Take a stroll 'through' Lake Luzern and appreciate the beauty of the varnished handcrafted wood, the carefully selected flowers and the layout of the town's most famous bridge. Don't discount the walk through at night as there's something different about the bridge at that more peaceful time.

This is a very old bridge except for one section which burned in a fired in 1993. The only way to tell that the section has been rebuilt is to look at the foundation which is concrete vs. the wood piers of the original section.
