The Pilatus mountain seemed somewhat pale in front of Jungfraujoch which I had visited two days earlier, but it had its own charm and made up for it in a brilliant way. I took the Pilatus-Bahn(Train) up the mountain and it turned out... More

To reach the summit of Mt Pilatus, you ride on the steepest cog railway in the world. If I'm not mistaken, parts of the ride are on a 40 degree incline. Some great views during the ride. People that are afraid of heights may have issues. Once at the top., there is a huge area for relaxing with a beer... More

Pilatus is a fantastic mountain with easy access from Luzern city via 2 routes. Watch out, it is currently closed for cablecar renovation. always visit the official website before adding this to your ininerary: http://www.pilatus.ch/en/ "From 17 November 2014 until 31 March 2015 Pilatus Kulm is closed." Kulm means summit.

We visited Lucerne as part of high school group from Canada. It was part of our tour and I am really happy it was part of our itinerary. It is a little pricey, but worth the money. The only downside is that when we went up it was extemely foggy up top so hard to see the grand view. The... More

The view from the top of Mt Pilatus was memorable. We went up by tram and the scenery on the way up was breathtaking. It is well worth a visit. Recommended.
