WOW! It was our first attraction trip in Switzerland we definitely loved it. Although there were far better sights in Switzerland but since it was our first day we enjoyed alot. We reached at pilatus by train and from there we bought tickets for the cog wheel train. They took us higher than our imagination maybe 9000 ft above sea... More

I went up here with a group tour last year. The views are amazing! Words really don't do it justice.

We took the golden. Trip of lake cruise from Lucerne, the cogwheel train up and the cable car down and highly recommend it. The view from the cog train and from the viewing platforms on the mountain are glorious. You can stop off half way down the cable car trip at an adventure park thingy (don't know the name, sorry)... Trust me...take the cog wheel train up one side and the ski lift down the other. Actually we like the lift down more than the cog wheel! Very scenic views. Nothing like it! There are real, actual cow bells from Swiss farmers for sale at the top, they smell like cow but you will never find something more authentic! I... More

Normally I am not crazy about heights, but since I was there, I decided I was going to go up that mountain. Once we got started going up on the cogwheel train I really enjoyed the ride and the view. At the end of the train ride and a beautiful view from the building I decided to go up the... More

If you love heights and the mountains and are in Lucerne, you must visit Mt. Pilatus. A great ride by train is topped with a fantastic place above where the food is exceptional. Not to be missed place. Add it to your itinerary. Goes without saying you must carry a good camera and if you like to take videos, take... More

I recommend this trip if you do not have a lot of time to spend in Zurich or Lucerne and yet you can't be missing out to see the famous Swiss Alps. I could only do a day trip and Mt Pilatus seem to be the perfect choice. I spent around 3 hours ( including taking the train up to... More

we took the boat travel on Lake Lucerne, which was great with beautiful towns on the water. Then we climb up to the mountain with the cogwheel train. we was amezed from the breathtaking views and then we took the cable car down. Along the way down you replace it to a smaller cable car. It took us half a... More
