Liked the place. We visited in late evening, liked the lighting around and wooded bridge. You well get descent lake side restaurants and enjoy a perfect romantic dinner. But we have better lakes in Swiss.

The view of the sunset there is just impressive, I spent two hours walking around the lake and I still can't get over it. It is way more beautiful than Zurich.

The views from the lake are nice. We took 1.5 hr return trip in the boat and were treated by nice weather. Charges are not much for the boat. The walk along the lake itself from the centre of the town upto transport museum is scenic. The water is clean and there are lots of swans to keep kids busy..... More

lake side of luzern is very small, beautiful and scenic. if you are a couple , taking a lakeside walk is a wonderful idea. There are many birds and swans in and around the lake. the overall area is very picturesque.

We were here in winter so the lake cruises were limited. It was actually overcast until our last day and then the sun broke out and we found a great spot along the lake that had a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Even if you don't go on the water, take time to stroll the lakefront. It's well worth... More

Lake Lucerne is a very beautiful Lake, with plenty of Swans swimming around and coming up to the edges. The Lake is edged by small wooden poles to stop the Swans from crossing onto the roads etc.. There are lots of boats on the lake, including ones that are restaurants. There is a tree lined walking path that runs around... More

This is a very picturesque area of Lucerne. We visited the Lake during the first snow of the winter and everything surrounding the lake was covered in snow which added to its beauty. It's well worth taking a boat on the Lake,we took one for about an hour and it's surprising just how much more you can see and the... More
