Fantastic museum for anyone with even the slightest interest in transport. A good day trip by train or boat from the city. I say day trip because the museum is huge. In fact it would be better to make repeated visits to really see it all. The tickets may seem expensive but it's worth it

There is a lot to see and do at the Verkehrshaus, but if you want to see and do everything it can be very expensive. CHF65 for a family, PLUS CH42 if you want to visit the Planetarium, plus another CHF42 if you want to go on the Chocolate Adventure, PLUS, PLUS, PLUS. And that is before the kids have... More

We spent 4-5 hours here and our 10-year-old boy really enjoyed the visit. The train collection is fantastic - including a selection of historical models. The car collection is good too, with a wide spectrum of models to see. The aircraft section and the marine sections are relatively less exciting. There are a number of outdoor activities in the centre... More

This is a fantastic place to visit. Extremely informative. Inside you will find the planetarium, a 3d cinema, the museum and the chocolate experience. The museum is very interactive for kids and adults. The only disappointment is that you have to pay further to use some stuff and attractions. That is annoying actually. There are trains, airplanes, cars, boats etc....wonderful... More

It is twenty years since our last visit to the Transport Museum, during which time I had heard that there had been lots of changes. Surprisingly, I felt at home straight away, because the major areas (trains, boats, air, space etc) had not been moved, just remodelled internally. As another contributor observed, there are many more hands-on exhibits, and although... More

Surprisingly extensive array of exhibits, the scale of this museum along with the unique way some exhibits are displayed make it well worth a visit. Young, old and every age in between will walk away having been impressed.

This museum is very interactive. You can climb in a lot of vehicles, from the boat to the plane. It is very interactive and does not requière to read too many things! Also everything is made to make children's visit passionate. And with seeing them laughing and playing i think it is a success. I highly recommend this museum

This is an extensive museum but well worth the few hours it takes to fully appreciate the varied displays. A trainspotters paradise and a model railway to die for! Very good variety of outdoor activities for children. A good way to spend a dull weather day.

Our little boy really enjoyed the time there and so did we as parents. There was so much to do and see... Wonderful. The museum provided skate scooters around the park which you just use it and then leave it at the parking slot for others to use. It is every kids' dream museum. Very hands on approach...
