Everything! cars, boats, trains, planes and a trip through space - what's not to like. I heard the words 'transport museum' and died a little inside. But how wrong I was. You could spend weeks here. My advise, choose your favourite form of transport and visit that area. If you have time, read the news and send it to friends... More

Very comprehensive coverage of all forms of transport. The collection of vehicles, trains, boats and aircraft was spectacular.

I took my under 2 son and he really seemed to enjoy the place. It's great to see all the old trains, planes and cars. We walked in one if the old trains and it was fun to let him just grab things and look around. A very enjoyable place worth visiting!

We woke to a gloomy day with heavy relentless rain. Our hotel receptionist had spoken in glowing terms about the Transport Museum telling us it was the largest in Europe. This was not something that would normally appeal but because of the weather we decided to give it a go. What an outstanding place. It is vast. We intended to... More

We walk from JailHotel going to this place. It was a mistake because its a long walk. But anyway, we enjoy taking picture by the bay. We reached the museum right on time for its opening hours. My son enjoyed the place a lot.

Swiss transport museum with nice exhibits. I went here from Lucern Station and was hoping to visit the museum but upon reaching was told that it is not covered under Swiss Pass which I had. Eventually due to time constraints, we did not visit the museum. But glanced through some exhibits which are free

Very interesting and well run museum. Lots of information but not too boring to read. Every aspect of transport covered including space travel. Especially liked the trains and trams exhibition. Upstairs is the model of the pass the scenic train goes through, which is very accurate. Good value. The swiss pass makes the price very good.

I was there with my boyfriend, two adults, so mhmmm... We were wondering if it is not the attraction mainly for 10-year-old boys, especially that the ticket costs 30 chf. And yet: no! We had fun and learned a lot. The highlight was for us helicopter simulator, crash test and Switzerland flipper. It was huge crowd there but the museum... More
