Been there several times spanning over almost 40 years. It is special, granted. The sections for the kids are amazing, like a huge playground. There are construction sites, a small set of roads to learn traffic rules with pedaling go-karts, even sailing training (on your own and by remote) - because of the special sailing exhibit, and many interactive games.... I went as a single adult to this museum and I found it very interesting. The train and car collection were very nice. Not as big of a car and train collection as at Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, but very nice. I liked the combination of indoor and outdoor displays and activities. There were many hands on activities for... More

An unbelievable experience where you are thrown into the world of the car, the train, the plane, and the boat. The sheer volume of real vehicles is something I've never seen before. If you think the london transport museum is great, this will blow your mind

didn't expect to like this but it was a lot of fun. the museum is housed in 4 or 5 separate buildings, all walk-able (or have the kids ride one of the many free scooters between buildings). each building houses a different modality of transport. very hands on and very interesting for kids and adults alike. this museum was featured... It's a great place to visit with your family once it's a rainy day in Lucerne. Unless most of museum's everything can be touched and moved. So it's fun for the kids.

We came here exclusively for the Swiss Chocolate Adventure, and we were not disappointed. Admission at a reasonable rate provided an experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. If you're in Lucerne, you should give this place a visit, if onlu for the chocolate.

This museum was a lot of fun for our whole family. Lots of stuff for the kids to do, but so much for adults to look at too. Don't feel like you can only go here if you have kids! My husband loves planes so there was plenty for him to enjoy, my son loves cars and trains and he... More

Overall, I left disappointed. The model boats were good, so were the planes, and trains, but what I really like is cars. They have a reasonable collection, but you can't get close to them as they are in this silly multi-story display where you "vote" to get the car to be transported to close to you. The voters were a... More

It is great place for kids. Very interactive. The miniature lake with controlled boats, airplanes, sail boats, racing track with mini cars and many more things to do for kids. Some of them a for gratis while some get activated by putting coins in the slot. There is a play area for kids. A food hall too. In the same... More
