Visited here during a winter day. The church is beautiful and essentially empty. We were there at 1300 Saturday. Wish I could have gotten a guided tour.

My favourite church in luzern. Not only from outside , but also you will admire it when you are inside the church. Enjoy your time...

The inside of the church is very lovely and different than many I've seen. While we were peeking inside, there was a string quartet practicing Christmas music. We were happy to have seen and heard it.

As the 5th cathedral visited during my trip, this one was the most beautiful. The interior is all stucco with beautifully painted frescoes giving it a very light & airy feel. It is closing in January 2016 for about 1 year of refurbishments.

This is a very pretty church. I had no idea what to expect. It surprised me. Well worth a visit! Located right at the Chapel Bridge, so you can't miss it!

This church, right along the Reuss River that runs through Lucerne, is a beautiful example of Baroque style. Its ornately carved altar and pulpit are made to look like pink marble, giving the church a stunning centerpiece. Large ceiling paintings and highly detailed plasterwork complete the rich effect. A service was going on during my visit, and the lovely music... More

Went here by accident as I didn't know at first what place is this. But, since Luzern is a very walkable city, I came here and astound by the ambience surround the church.

There's an app to download via IOS/ Andriod. Do download it to read more about the church. It's a lovely church. There's scaffolding all around outside. However, interiors are beautiful! Organ pipes are playing too!

This Jesuit church was not on our tour itinerary but our walking guide Janette proudly had to show us. Loved the smaller understated aura of this church and the mainly 2 colour decor. I am sure there are many stories to be told here, many altars that each have a story. Would be worth looking up the history before a... More
