If you like to visit churches and are in Luzern, you must visit this Church. It doesn't look much from the outside, a grand building but no hint of what awaits inside. Entering I was left in awe, it's Barock interior dazzling even my non-religious friends were impressed. Just WOW.

Bells ringing on the quarter hour in this city brings your attention to see old churches. The Jesuit chuch welcomes visitors with lights on so visitors can see its remarkable interior. This is a working church with effort to define its mission.

Lovely church right on the river. Quiet for a restful moment. Some afternoons they play alpen horns in front of the church.

Another beautiful church in Switzerland just opposite of Chapel Bridge. Unfortunately for us we could not enter inside as we visited early morning and there was a mass prayer going on. But lovely architecture from outside.

Interior is worthseeing but nothing special when compared to the many incredible cathedrals, basilicas and churches of Europe. The scaffolding around the exterior detracts from its beauty but is an obvious necessity to maintain this fine structure for future generations.

What a beautiful, yet not overly ornate, church this is. It's a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of Luzern, right along the waterfront. Definitely worth a brief visit.

There are a number of churches in Lucerne that are worth a visit and this is near the top of the list. Shrouded in scaffolding outside but inside is interesting Don't be put off.

Very nice Baroque church in Lucerne - the pink and white decor is sumptuous and it is a peaceful spot.

We went to Mass here on a Sunday morning. The times are listed outside the church. There was no Homily at the 7 am Mass. We don't speak much German so this was a plus for us. It is centrally located by the river and is an amazing view from the other side of the river.

My wife and I visited the Jesuit Church in July 2015. It was built in 1666-67 and has 2 onion dome towers on either side. It interior is huge with many side chapels. We ate dinner across the river later, and saw 2 weddings take place here with the bells ringing. Magical!
