The church is a beautiful example of baroque architecture in Switzerland. The entry to the church is overlocking the river just a few steps away from the Chapel Bridge. The interior of the church is not a frescoed at a lot of baroque churched is it still equally beautiful. The frescos which are present on the ceiling are very well... More

I visited Jesuit Church early in the morning. I was amazed by its baroque style, white interior with salmon pink finishes and impressive altar that looks like it was made out of pink marble but stucco and plaster were used instead. The interior is very bright as the white walls reflect light pouring in through the windows close to the... More

This was the best surprise of our visit to Lucerne. It is within walking distance from the station and doesn't look like much from the outside. It is when you enter that your breath is blown away - a beautiful pink, white an gold church! A must-see when you are in Lucerne!

by chance the organ was being played when we were there--exquisite! Because of all the white interior light is reflected beautifully and it's easy to get excellent photos. Not always the case in such large buildings.

One of the many churches seen on my trip. Lots of history. This is one of the most beautiful churches, I have ever seen. Would love to have this church at home. No words can describe the beauty and magnificent. It's just amazing and certainly a place to see.

Nothing like any of the churches I've seen so far - definitely worth a look inside. The chandeliers are so cool and the detail is incredible.

Gorgeous gorgeous church from the Baroque period. My favourite of all the churches I visitied. The detailing at every corner can make you just sit down and stare at all corners, overwhelmed by the beauty of the entire church. It's a stark comparison to the other churches and cathedrals which tend to be more solemn looking, this is an explosion... More

I have seen many churches all over Europe and this one is not so big, but very nice and impressive. The main point is that it is not dark and gloomy as many of the famous churches and cathedrals are, but well lighted and with lovely colored decorations. We were lucky to listen to the big organ playing and its... More

Only way to describe this beautiful church is to say stunning. It's one of the few old churches I've been in that is so light and airy and not real dark.

I have seen a lot of dark moody churches in my time, but was really surprised how light and airy the interior of this church was. Quite pretty inside and worth a picture or two. Close to everything else in the area like Old Town, Chapel Bridge etc.
