The church is charming when seen from across the river. It fits the whole charming ambience of Lucerne, and it is not that far from the train station if you are on a rush to sightsee before catching another train.

There's currently restoration work being carried out on the exterior of the building. The interior is fantastic, comparable to one of those ancient churches in Europe.

If you are traveling to Lucerne this summer you will find that this is undergoing external, structural repairs. Although it currently isn't anything to look at on the outside, you must go in! The church is beautiful! Be sure to turn around and admire the organ pipes in the balcony as well.

The interior of the church is quite nicely decorated, while the exterior is a bit more subtle. It's worth a pop-in, but I wouldn't consider it a must see if you've been to a lot of old churches in Europe.

Lovely old church, beautifully decorated. Cool and calming. A good place to contemplate and remember family and friends who are no longer alive. An oasis in a busy, yet beautiful town.

The church sits right on the river front next to the concert hall. It is a beautiful church with white, pink and red marble pillars and altars. It ha n airy feel to it.

If you have time, visit this place, but it's not a must. The exterior of the church is going through renovation. inside is nice and beautiful but I would not say you must visit this place as there are still many other places like this that you can visit in Europe.

A beautiful church. Well worth the visit when in Lucerne. Even better view of the church when seen from across the river.

If you enjoy architecture... If you enjoy churches. This is a must. You can spend hours looking at all the details. Well worth a stop to look. You won't see anything like this at home. :)

The Jesuitenkirche is nicely presented and well worth the visit. No entry fee is required and no crowds inside the church. It is however not breathtaking inside as I have seen much more impressive churches around Europe.
