It is a very huge station with good architecture. Lots of trains for various destinations leave from here. The best part is that this station has two levels. On ground floor it has the tourist information office which is very helpful in assisting you , also there is a small supermarket and burger king. The basement offers train inquiry counter... More

A huge train station with all required facilities. One can find trains to all Swiss cities right from here. Tourist info centre, small stores, foods everything availavle inside the station. The station is also well connected with bus stands and ferry terminals for all boat trips, right in front of the station.

It is one of the big stations with some shopping options ... They have a MIGRO and COOP in the shopping options.. One can go to any part of the city from here by bus... Also tourist walking tour starts from here... Just follow the red line..

The station is perfectly situated, close to everything. It has a large shopping centre underneath it with shops, cafes, banking, currency exchange, travel agents, lockers and for tourists there is a very helpful tourist information centre. A great station if you have to wait in between trains, or when the regular shops are closed as it's open every day.

The staff at Lucerne station were really helpful. The building itself was really interestingly decorated and well signed. Lots of facilities for shopping eating or whatever you might need to do before catching a train

We had to change trains in Lucern and had a lay over. We stowed our bags at the train station, grabbed the best brat we had in Europe and explored this lovely city for four hrs. We will be back to spend a few days in the city and the surroundings.

Over christmas, there are many shops and restaurants closed. Fortunately this station has a lot of activity underground with shops (both for clothes and food) open. We were even able to buy some swiss chocolate here!

I have never seen such a clean and bustling station.. The tourist information center is located there, together with food shops, candy stores, supermarket... Trains are so quiet and clean, you just want to take a ride.. Everything seems to revolve around the station that is open all hours and is indoors. I found myself returning on a daily basis... More

As other swiss stations didn't feel anything special in it. Regural station. If you have not tried Laderach choco before you must try it. They have a store in the station.
