We were pleased with how easy it was to get to and from this station, what made it even better is that they have offical helpers (check for their badge) who will answer questions and assist you. Our hotel was just a short stroll from station as well.

Luzern offers great transport options of bus, tram, train and ferry to move around, if you want to be on your own, instead of depending on expensive tour operators. Great support from customer information centers and the staff are just too good and patient to respond to all your queries.

The station is a transit point for visiting many tourist places in Switzerland. There was some work going on when I was there. There are some shops and food joints in case you have to shop or are hungry. Also the Migros on the station is open till late

If you come from Zurich Main Station and then end up here you will notice a difference. It's small and easy to get around unlike Zurich HB which is a monster. Very easy to find trains and relatively clean with no nonsense. Exits right onto Lake Lucerne.

It is right in the center of the city beautiful architecture , has trains both internal and to other countries from it . just outside is a tourist information center. Step away are numerous eating places as well as many inside the station.

Nice and easy to walk as it is not too big so even in a hurry you can easily find your train. All well written.

It is a well planned train station and clean one. If any one wants to buy liquor or wine, go one level down by using escalator and you will find departmental store. There you can buy liquor or any other quick need items. After going out you may feel difficult to find them.

When you arrive at Lucerne Station is small, quaint, friendly and easy to navigate. Being new to European travel it was my first stop. When we walked outside there is an amazing site a million bicycles all parked together, Lord knows how anyone finds theirs. Give you a real feel of the country living. We walked to our hotel with...
