I have long wanted to hear a concert at this venue, and it did not disappoint. Outside it is stunning, and inside it is an absolute gem of modern architecture. Plus the atmosphere was very welcoming and laid back - there were people there in cocktail dresses and others wearing jeans. The staff were friendly and every seating area has... More

A stunning concert hall designed by French architect Jean Nouvel. Best acoustics for classical music, in addition to being a stunning building visually. I have tried seats in various parts of the auditorium and they are all excellent.

This is an amazing architectural gem combined with ingenious acoustic engineering systems - a visit to a concert is wonderful experience, despite its high price tag - but it is worth it! And tickets to more reasonable prices are always available if you book in good time or just are lucky!

Beautiful interior and amazing acoustics. See any type of musical event in this hall as it will last in your memory. I performed on this stage once a very long time ago and it was tremendous. Great audiences as well.

Fantastic acoustics, comfortable seats and in a stunning location right on the waterfront. The concert hall has a number of bars, eateries and plenty of conveniences and a large cloakroom.

My wife and I were in Lucerne recently and were surprised to see such a large and beautiful concert hall. The venue reminds me of the Opera House in Copenhagen (a head with a big hat) but a better design. They were playing theme music from the Indiana Jones series.

Attended three concerts as part of the Luzern Summer Music Festival. Seems not to matter where you sit, the sound is balanced and full. Left and right parquet seats are much more comfortable than center orchestra and the view of the stage unimpeded.

Surely among the best concert halls in the world. Amazing acoustics. The Lucerne festivals are among the very bests and if you are in town during one of the three festivals dont miss it.
