This beautiful modern building is situated close to the railway and boat stations. It is very beautiful and has great views over the lake. It is obviously popular with the locals as well as tourists judging by the queues. There are several restaurants and bars closeby if you fail to get in!

Enjoyed Verdi's Requiem here with the Luzern Symphony and a visiting chorus from Latvia. We had tickets in the front row of the second tier. The view of the orchestra was great, and the acoustics are good. The concert hall has a varied programme of classical and other music during the season and is well worth trying to get tickets... Beautiful concert hall. Front of house staff very abrupt & not friendly - they could take some tips from the Royal Opera House which is smoothly & efficiently run with manners!.

went to see Titanic Live in KKL. Seating was poor for prices charged. Orchestra and choir were brilliant. Toilets were blocked the night we were there so was very bad smell around area

The KKL, how it's known by locals, is one of the best concert halls in the world. The acoustics are just amazing and the interior is sleek but beautiful. I've been there so many times mostly for classic music but have also heard/see a few jazz concerts. The seats are quite comfortable and you get a good view from almost... More

The concert hall is also known as the KKL, a very striking architectural piece on the lake next to the train station, with the alps as its backdrop. Beautiful. We booked tickets in advance to watch the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra perform the score of Howard Shore for the Lord of the Rings, together with the Chorus, the Lucerne Boys... More

Incredible concert, beautiful building. Especially during the concert break when one gets up to the terrace! Wonderful view over the lake Lucern and the city!

Besides the beautiful scenery, the Concert Hall is the main attraction of Lucerne. The impressive KKL is situated alongside the lake and next to the railway station. For lovers of classical concerts the KKL is definitely worthwile to visit. The KKL is a symphony Hall with international reputation where acclaimed directors and famous orchestras perform regularly. The Concert building, designed... More

We attended the Pirates of the Caribbean IV symphony at KKL and booked the remaining last few tickets at the second to the last row. Although the seats we had were pretty steep in location, the view wasn't bad and the acoustics were really great. Drinks during intermission were not cheap but access to the top floor after the concert... More
