Basically a museum of stuffed animals. Super for taxidermy enthusiasts and perhaps young children, otherwise not really worth seeking out. Janus the two headed tortoise lives here in atrocious conditions in an entirely unsuitable enclosure, and was hidden from view during my visit. All the signs are in French, which is a shame for non-French speakers/readers. The vintage posters on... More

The Natural History museum of Geneva provided a rare opportunity on a rainy morning – free indoors entertainment for Children. The museum itself in spread over three floors of exhibits but, unfortunately, takes the form primarily of row upon row of glass displays of stuffed animals and a variety of not particularly imaginative settings. The second floor contains a slightly... More

One of my and my little daughter's favourite museums in the world. Amazing exhibits on 4 massive floors (The dino floor is not completed till 2018 unfortunately). Plus there is no entrance fee, so a fantastic way to spend a couple of hours! You'll never see so many creatures in one place......A real taxidermist delight! Check out the four tigers... More

Lovely museum. I can with my daughters class and we enjoyed a guided tour of the new exhibition, exo planets. It was very good. This museum is well with the trip, especially on a day when you want to keep out of either the heat or cold (in winter)

Very interesting. Not only for children, but for adults also. I would like to have more time and another chance to visit it again.

We popped in here not knowing what to expect other than stuffed animals, so the space exhibit and minerals section were nice additions. Lovely way to fill a couple of hours in the morning before lunch. It's nice and quiet on a Sunday, and I reckon it would appeal to a variety of visitors, from single travellers to couples to...
