This museum has a wonderful array of exhibits - at the moment the theme is Oiseaux (Birdlife). Bathroom facilities are clean and plentiful. Unfortunately the cafeteria has too much sweet food on offer for small people, and had stopped serving proper meals when we stopped by at about 4pm. The range of exhibits is quite incredible really - for my... More

Nice and complete collection but I go there since I'm 4 years old and nothing has changed since. As the entrance is free I would suggest to at least go once to have a look.

Probably not surprising given the size of Geneva, this museum is small and doesn't offer much by the way of entertainment or education. Occasional good exhibitions, but also hit and miss. Cafeteria to avoid. If you want to visit a natural history museum, rather go to a bigger city. Okay-ish for a rainy day if nothing else to do.

Ran around all day with my niece (who's 2) and actually learned something too! Very fun and a great way to spend an afternoon!

The natural history museum is really nice, and staff are very friendly. The restaurant could be a bit updated, though... There is plenty to see for many visits. And it is free!

As we do not live very far away, we have been there with our 8 years old daughter repeatedly, and she enjoys the museum visit very much each time. Actually, it's her who wants to go there. There are all sorts of permanent exhibitions, animals from all continents, stones collections, planetary system and meteorites, some prehistory exponents, the most famous... More

This is what a Natural History museum would have looked like 50 years ago. Only stuffed dead animals. I think this sends the wrong message as the museum claims to care about nature conservation and wildlife protection. Also there is the 2-headed turtle which is kept in a small cage and gawked at like a circus attraction. Depressing and unethical.... More

Everything is very well presented. The two-headed turtle (alive!) was quite a surprise to see. Take your time since there is a lot to see. although being free you can go in more than one visit.

Near the tram stop. Excellent exhibits and the museum was empty of visitors when we visited. Very peaceful and informative, with info in Latin, French and English. Well worth a visit. Good clean facilities too.
