A slightly odd but brilliant museum. It feels like the sort of exhibition space you might put together if you had never been to a museum. Lots of animals are in their 'natural' habitats which makes it feel slightly like a very still zoo. However the still alive 2 headed tortoise is a highlight along with Lucy the ancestor. We... More

Natural history is natural history where ever you may be. This museum has very good exhibits in all sections. The mineralogy displays were very well exhibited with a great method of passing on understanding. More than I've seen in other museums.

We had our 12year old daughter with us and she just loved this museum as she loves animals. She rated it 10/10 and all for free too

This museum has a wonderful collection of stuffed (dead) animals. Yes - it has an old fashioned feel to it, but as it is free it is well worth the visit. You may see some animals that are now extinct so you will never have been able to see them in a zoo or in real life.

It was such a nice surprise! if you travel with children, absolutely take a minute to visit this museum. Very ver nicely done, in simple way, but out two girls (3 and 6 years) were screaming from joy to see all animals! so super visit! spent there more than 3 hrs. Very Very nice. Thank you!

This museum has a wonderful array of exhibits - at the moment the theme is Oiseaux (Birdlife). Bathroom facilities are clean and plentiful. Unfortunately the cafeteria has too much sweet food on offer for small people, and had stopped serving proper meals when we stopped by at about 4pm. The range of exhibits is quite incredible really - for my... More

Nice and complete collection but I go there since I'm 4 years old and nothing has changed since. As the entrance is free I would suggest to at least go once to have a look.

Probably not surprising given the size of Geneva, this museum is small and doesn't offer much by the way of entertainment or education. Occasional good exhibitions, but also hit and miss. Cafeteria to avoid. If you want to visit a natural history museum, rather go to a bigger city. Okay-ish for a rainy day if nothing else to do.

Ran around all day with my niece (who's 2) and actually learned something too! Very fun and a great way to spend an afternoon!
