A nice way to start your afternoon is to stroll around the lakeside, watching the swans and the Jet d'Eau with the locals. Maybe start from Mon Repos Park and walk into the city centre, or vice versa. Quite relaxed atmosphere.

I liked it because it was very scenic . The train travels on the waters edge so there are numerous opportunities for photo's.

What to say except the extremely high level of environment respect and protection, beauty in spring summer and autumn, the diversity of cities and towns bordering the lake both the french and swiss sides , in cultures not necessarily the same..

Lake geneva is a very interesting place to visit! Although when we arrived the weather was windy and foggy, the landscape was really beautiful! Unfortunately the Jet d' Eau was not in operation. It was really very nice picture to walk round the lake at night and see the big buildings and the bridges full of lights because of Christmas!... More

Would like to comeback when the weather was nicer to appreciate the lake. The rainy, murky weather was not what we wanted. The sleek 1950's boats ply the lake and it would of great interest to use them in Summer.

Always good for a relaxing stroll and people watching. Lots of green spots for the kids to run around. Just a pity the majority of the food options around the lake are so pricey. But that's Geneva...

I ve interested in the cities around like Lozan and Montro which have historical identities for the new TURKEY AFTER the war. There are interesting boats on the lake.
