Glad we stopped in Geneva on our way elsewhere. Strolled the lake on a cloudy afternoon and my husband ran it the next day. Safe paths and walkways, beautiful scenery.

Lake Geneva is very pretty, and the water looks crystal clear. There is a promenade around the lake which is lovely for a walk or a run.

Absolutely wonderful peaceful lake with white swans swimming around it. Huge reservoir of fresh water, nice water to swim in, perfect for a restless day with a picturesque scene.

To read the TA reviews, one would think this was the only lake the reviewers had ever seen. Sure, it's pretty, but then again, so are lots of lakes, some of them with cities a lot more exciting than Geneva on their shores.
