A lac which travel with you for about 1 hours from Geneva to Montreux. One should take the train ride to see it all in once- one side you have long stretches of beautiful wine-yard. Other end of the lac is scenic mountains. Get down to see Jet d'leu, Flower clock, wine-yard, or world famous wine yards.

The Water Jet! The crystal blue lake! The yellow boats! Such a nice place to stick a city. Take the yellow boat across for a great view of the lake and the city.

3 days was just the right time to visit the history, see the city with its gardens, water features and beautiful streets and the Red Cross museum and spend a day on the beautiful lake.

March can be rainy and cold depending on which side of the lake you are. Montreux was beautiful. Geneve and surrounding is mainly for rich people.

I took the little solar train around part of the lake which was a nice way to get to see some of the stuff along it without having to walk all that way without knowing if I was going to want to walk that far. It was well worth it because was I did see was several places to rent... More

clean, beautiful and inspiring. Not much to do on it like other Swiss lakes (Zee) but its got a historical feel to it. Nice to look at. The Jet of water is unusual too. The locals seem impressed by it.
