We visited here in the summer time and there was a lot going on at the lake. You can hire boats, swim and beaches or water parks, get ice cream and all sorts. It's very pretty and the water was a lovely blue and a great temperature. It's a very happening area too with lots of people around. It was... More

Take a cruise along the lake or one of the bus tours around the main sites. Sit and relax and enjoy the view - have a drink or something to eat in one of the cafes along the lake

Definitely take a swim!!!!!! Although a bit cold it was still manageable and there are so many places to put your stuff down and take a plunge. Don't be embarrassed to strip down to your underwear, many local people do this.

Very beautiful location, and very close to Yvoire old town in France. So when you visit Geneva lake, it is very easy to commute to Yvoire old town by 1 hour drive

Lake Geneva is the largest lake in Europe and a must-visit destination while in Geneva or the lake Geneva region. Its a beautiful, clear, well-maintained lake. IN Geneva, the lake is bordered by the hustle-bustle of downtown Geneva. The lakeside is surrounded by tourist hot-spots like the Flower-Clock, lots of restaurants and cafe's, impressive hotels, tiny little beach area's from... More

If you are in Geneve (or another town by the lake), you have to take a trip on the lake by one of the old steamers. Take the 2 hours trip which goes to Yvoire, which is very worth seeing! On the French side of the lake, so bring euros.
