Just a place were you can see the Jet'd Eau, you can see some swans and even a couple of elderly people going for a swim in the freezing lake. Maybe in the summer is better in winter time is not that impressive.

Very difficult to understand what the fuss is about. The views are pretty but not different from other parts of the lake and the place gets so crowdy on sunny days that it ceases being relaxing.

Get away from all the formality of this city and relax here for good value and be completely chilled. Informal eating, have a drink and enjoy the views right on the water or if so inclined take all your clothes off and join others sunbathing or swimming in the nude ( it is very discreet ! ) The best time to... Bains de Paquis is one of my favorite places in Geneva, perhaps because it feels so un-Geneva. It’s quick, easy, unpretentious, and doesn't empty your wallet. During summer you can enjoy a nice, easy lunch right on the lake, on some days with live music in the afternoon. During winter, there are few places I’d prefer to go for fondue.... More

It could be during the winter or in the heat of the summer it's a great place to visit and relax should it be your cup of tea. The restaurant is quite good for the type of things served.

The bains des paquis is very nice in the summer when it's hot and sunny. People from all sorts come there, the entry is 2chf, and their cafeteria is fresh. They have a corner where only women can go, they have saunas as well. All sorts of activities happen all year round like their summer sunrise concerts at 6:00am. Be... More

Winter is slightly different than summer, but if you though Geneva was boring- voila, it will give you plenty chances to re-evaluate and confirm the amazing multicultural, plurilingual, international Geneva- and the common dominator - la fondue . In the end we are all Swiss if the stomach could have its local votel. Seriously, a have to !!

I understand this place was about to be demolished and whiped out. But citizens of Geneve voted against. well done. You see here, at any time of the year (more so in warmer months), all kinds of people enjoying themselves. Swimmers, sunbathers, joggers, tourists, birders, etc. there is a place where you can buy coffee or a complte lunch. Many... More

This is a "must go" in Geneva, especially in the summer when you can sit outside and drink the most amazing freshly squeezed smoothies and fruit juices. The plat du jour is always a bargain and you get a good meal. There isn't table service outdoors, it is sort of like a big out door cafeteria but the mood and... More
