This tour is advertised as "Sweet Geneva" but it was much more. We met our guide Sylvia near the fountain at the Place du Marché in Carouge. We started with a walk to a chocolatier, a tour and demonstration of how hand-made chocolates are produced, and of course the mandatory tasting of the results. By the time we were done... More

This was a new and different way to visit Geneva for us, highly recommended. We have visited friends in Geneva before and always spend time around the lake and downtown, but we had never been to Carouge. What a charming little area, and such a fun way to visit it. With desserts! The guide, Sylvia, was very knowledgeable about the... More

I wrote well in advance (>2 weeks) in order to find out if a tour would be available for the time of my stay in Geneva, but never received a response. Out of curiousity, i checked and found out that the operator was active on the net during this time so i cannot find a justification for such substandard conduct.... More

I'd been living in the neighborhood covered in this tour for over a year and thought I knew it pretty well, but Kerrin introduced me to several new and wonderful spots for chocolate and sweets (most of which I've been back to since!). Her personal relationships with these artisans & her extensive knowledge about chocolate really made the tour a... More

The tour with Kerrin is very, very interesting for many reasons. Fisrt she knows a lot about chocolate and cacao, so it's great to chat with her about these topics. She also knows everyone in the chocolate industry in Geneva, so I met some of the best chocolate makers in Switzerland. It was an unforgettable experience, and I recommend this... More

I live in Switzerland and have been following Kerrin's terrific writing for a long time, so it is not surprising that her Sweet Geneva tour is truly a 5-star event. She is as comfortable and personable with the chocolate makers as she is with the tourists, and she really knows her chocolate, which is not surprising since she worked for... More

A wonderful and magical tour of some of Carouge's best chocolate and pastry artisans. Kerrin is a very friendly, enthusiastic and knowlegeable guide. You'll not get bored on this amazing journey as every place visited is a real discovery and the samples you'll get to taste are just out-of-this-world. Highly recommendable!
