The museum was good enough...I expected more, but it was good. The one floor was with photos :-( The write-ups were in French and very few in English. If you don't know French it is difficult to follow up the museum. The lady in the entrance was unfriently.

I would take this off the list of Geneva attractions. Only two floors are open...one an incomprehensible film exhibition, and the other a few disconnected photo exhibits. Consider your entrance fee a donation to some mis-applied students.

Finding this place is confusing. This is "MAMCO" but the entrance area serves other places too. We went because we like (some) modern art, but were disappointed. Much of the (very large) space went to one particular artist who quickly lost my interest. Other art included several canvases painted over with one color. A large number of exhibits were "untitled".... More

Only two floors were open as they are the process of refurbishing the other floors. A wide range of exhibits. We also visited a photographic exhibition in the same building.

A fantastic array of art - Van Gogh, Monet, Carot... This was a real find with very few people making it an even better experience.

A lot of Genevois have never been there although it is one of the most interesting spots in Geneva. The concept is very fine and sophisticated. The collection is not necessarily the most updated one but plenty of jewels. It is really smartly displayed in a building certainly not designed to become a museum but it certainly improves the visit.... More

NOt what I would call uplifting. Social commentary ...very depressing. loads of 60's images. The setting was very unique.

a must to visit for art lovers. Well presented and impressive. My 34 year old daughter simply enjoyed the visit .

You will spend most of the time on the staircase as there is one piece per floor, maximum two. But they do a workshop for children from 4 to 10 years old on a Saturday morning at 11, where kids and parents can enjoy making their own art. You have to reserve, though.

Not for the faint hearted or the close minded. Give it a go, and maybe you'll change your perspective on what you take for granted.
