I love to sit here in the winter, spring, summer or autumn. In the cooler weather they give you blankets to wrap around your legs, cute or what? Depending on the season and the the time of day, choosing which section to sit is key, I've sat in Clemance and been offered nothing more than coffee (which was lovely) then... More

We stopped for a latte and a Kronenbourg in the late afternoon, sitting out on under the umbrellas in the square. The carillon from the Cathdedrale, far above, was playing. What was wrong with this picture? Absolutely nothing.

We gravitated towards this Old Town gathering square. Very quaint streets leading up to the square now with many cafes and restaurants. We had lunch then dinner here on separate occasions. You can go very inexpensive or totally blow your meal budget in this area of town. Beautiful on a warm summer night in July. We enjoyed ourselves.

A picturesque medieval and Renaissance quarter that is home to many modern bookstores, art galleries, and restaurants.

Sitting in the square outside the Tea Rooms, sipping tea with luscious pastry, people watching while the fashionably suited business men and women grabbed lunch at nearby tables... made life very liveable!

I thought this was going to be a bigger square than it is, but it is ok. There are a few bars and restaurants around. I read about Clemence bar but didn't think it was anything special! We stopped there for a couple of drinks. We were there last weekend, end of June, so maybe it gets more lively later... More

A great stop for a hearty brunch - the rostis are huge but slightly overpriced! If you are after a greasy hangover cure this is the place for you!

We thought this would be a bigger town square with many out door cafés etc and plenty of people watching and other things going on. There were a couple of run-of-the-mill cafés there but not much else going on. We were lucky in that a brass band rocked up and played a couple of numbers before moving on.

"Clemence" is the cafe...all the action starts here on the square! Indoors its very close when its raining but always fun. Locals and tourists mix it up. Lots of bars, tea rooms on the Square if you can't get into the Clemence. Walk and explore the sights of the Old Town...a step back in time! If you want antiques, bring... More

Lots of restaurants and bars around a scenic city square, tables under the trees, a real buzz of conversation and occasional clouds of questionable smoke!!
