This is right next to the Cathedral and is a great place to relax and take a break. It was quite busy when I was there. Good place to start your walk around the old town. I recommend just getting lost and taking in the lovely party of this city.

This place actually is a square, full of tables and chairs, surrounded by restaurants, bistros, cafés, bars, branded stores/shops, and historical sites. When I came here for one day visit in Geneva, I saw this square more like an open air restaurant, full of peoples relaxing, eating, drinking, chatting and watching . This square situated strategically in the old town... More

Try to catch a guided tour of this square and of the old town. The Hall of Justice is interesting but so are the multiple facades with windows that have lost their alignment over time. Easy to imagine 1602 when the Genevois sent off the Savoyard

When in Geneva, visit the Old town and this is a nice spot to walk to. Plenty of reasonable cafes and meal options of all price ranges in the square and very close. Sit at a sidewalk table and people watch. Stroll nearby shops, visit historical spots and relax!

Beautiful little square with plenty of cafes and restaurants to eat inside and out. Mixed prices, good location in old town. Really nice feel to it.

A beautiful square surrounded by lovely architecture. Lots of cafes and casual eating places - a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. All the cafes provided blankets to wrap around you to keep out the chill - each cafe had there own colour. The square is in the centre of the old town, close to many... More

Even in the winter this place is charming with lovely shops and eateries. La Clemence serves great coffee and is relaxed and welcoming. Nearby Hotel les Armures is beautiful and a must have is their fondue.

This was billed as the place to see and the place to be seen. It is rather fun and lovely. Tucked in the middle of The Old Town, surrounded by beautiful architecture. The various restaurants offer a variety of foods and beverages. If you sit at a table you are expected to order something...

The Sqaure and its surroundings were buzzing on a Sunday afternoon. The cafe is the place to be seen and to watch the world go by. Returning down to the lake there is plenty of window shopping to do.
