This is a restaurant in one of the centuries-old cellars of the old town which serves typical Swiss cuisine. It is simply wonderful, romantic and genuinely ancient. We had a great meal served by friendly service staff. On weekends you should reserve otherwise you may not get a seat. I will definitely go back.

The restaurant is one of the oldest in the city and has a authentic atmosphere, great local... More

A cozy and charming wine cellar and restaurant. We were greeted warmly by the proprietor who remembered us from a visit last year. Delicious home cooked meals. We love the fabulous morel mushroom dishes, a gourmet treat available in the spring!

I had saved this restaurant to visit on my trip to Bern. I must've walked by it probably 5 or 6 times. It's a cellar restaurant and if you don't know to look for it you won't find it. The service was ok but there was only one server and he was busy on the very full terrace, no one... More
