Very nice ancient clock which remains beautiful. . At every hour you can see dancing joker and top ringing of the bill by a man (made of stone).. In the middle of lovely old town.

we would highly recommend this tour of the inner workings and history of the clock tower. it is an enjoyable and interesting look into the history of clocks in Switzerland and this tower in particular. you will see the figures moving from the inside and the intricate mechanisms that make it possible. Tours are in German with some English translation.

Seeing this is usually the starting or ending point of any walking tour of the old town of Bern. Interesting.

The clock looks nice and very accessible with public transport . It's still a working clock. Anyone can view it since it's sort of a landmark .

We were able to take the daily guided tour of the works. It is a wonder to see that what was built in the 1500's still works so well.

Worth a picture and minutes of contemplation. The tower is located at the beginning of old town main street.
