We saw this advertised on google when we searched What to do in Basel. We were thoroughly impressed. The ticket cost 7CHF and entry is free for under 16s. We started in the teddy bear exhibition. As we weren't really sure what the numbering system was for we sort of wandered around looking at the bears oohing and aahing, we... More

This was one of my wife;s favorite shops during a 3 week trip in Germany, France and Switzerland. It has an excellent selection of miniatures.

Finest bear collection we've ever seen, hands down. If you're a fan of teddy bears - you'd be missing out by skipping this place. Have to be seen to be believed. Worth every Swiss Franc, especially if you're bringing kids along. Themed decorations were done with so much thought and detail, you can tell it was done with passion for... More

A fantastic collection of bears, dolls and dolls houses, with amazing moving displays from carousels to ferris wheels. So much time and effort has went into this collection. Definitely more for adults than children as these are proper collectors items. It's only 7 francs to visit the museum, and its well worth that.

Hundreds of toys (Mostly bears and dolls) beautifully displayed over 4 floors. Free entry for Swiss Pass holders. It's not an interactive museum. Kids are not going to enjoy peering at stuffed bears behind glass, even if the bears are riding a Ferris wheel. Collectors will love this though.

It's an excellent museum in the old town. A lot of toys from the past that we remember with joy but also with emotion. But it's not a place for children because the toys of the past are so different from the toys of today. If you are over 50 you must go there,it's amazing. There are 4floors full of... More

This is a place to visit with Peter Pan, as you have the impression you are entering into Wendy's room. The biggest collection of Teddy bears ever, magical circuses, victorian houses, 19th century dolls .. A whole building full of generation of good times memories. Nice for everybody to visit, whatever age.
