If this is number 19 in the list the ones above must be incredible. Not just about teddy bears, incredibly detailed miniatures of shops, houses, fairs etc provide over 2 hours of joy. An absolute must see

We were there during a special Japanese exhibit. The price was worth going through the many floors of this museum. If you like dolls, teddy bears, diaramas, doll houses, etc , this is for you. No pictures are allowed but they do have postcards in the gift shop.

I'm in agreement with the previous reviewer. Visited this museum (previously called the Puppenhausmuseum) perhaps with a misguided expectation that I would get to learn about the history of toys generally and how they came to be made.....etc. Spread over 4 floors, this museum contains thousands of toys, especially teddy bears and doll houses; it must surely house one of... It's good for young kids and people who have an interest in teddy bears and dolls. For teenagers and adults not really recommended.

The 7CHF entrance fee is a bargain to see such a huge collection of teddy bears. The displays are well thought out and the sheer range of bears on display is incredible. I wasn't interested in the dolls (there are a lot on display for those who are) but loved the doll's houses and the miniature grocer's shops. There are... More

We have visited this museum a number of times over the year and it just gets better and better. Their display of vintage teddy bears is without doubt the best in the world, even Steiff don't have the range and quality. They also have regular special exhibitions - the last we saw was Marilyn Monroe - and as usual it... More

Such good value at 7CHF adult entry - saw the Marilyn exhibition but was more enchanted by the toys themselves! Well worth a visit and I expect the kids would love it too!!

We didn't go inside on this visit, but did in 2007 when at Christmas markets. This is a wonderful collection of antique & collectors dolls, teddies and other toys - and has a diverse collection of "artist" bears made by artists from all over the world - I am lucky enough to have met several who have bears in their... This is one of those museums you can visit in 30 minutes or take over half a day. There's a great selection of teddy bears, old toys and doll's houses. With an interest in all of those we took over four hours to see everything with every display containing something special and most provoking a "I want that" comment, but... More
