Don't judge a stadium by its cover. The atmosphere in this stadium is electric. I don't know if it has been cleverly designed to amplify the noise, or if the FCB fans really are that fanatical, but it is great. Last visited for sonisphere. Wouldn't necessarily recommend for a stand alone visit, only for gigs or matches.

We went to check out the stadium as we were in Basel although not on a match day. Very impressive set up. Worth the visit for a football fan. Great club shop and it ties in with a shopping centre for the ladies too! The bar is great, all in Basel colours and views of the ground. Easy journey on... More

You could pass by this stadium & not know it's there. It's a football ground within a shopping centre, but once in, it's a great place to watch a game. Motorway on one side, when illuminated, there is no missing the place. From the other side, could be easily missed. Managed to park in the shopping centre multi storey, which... More

From the outside looking unattractive, but the inside is beautiful. Every seat has a good view to the field and the atmosphere is very special, thanks to the cheering of Basel fans. I recommend to buy tickets early in order to get a better seat. Sectors C2-C5 Balcony or G4-G7 (first few rows only) are absolutely fantastic! Pricing is expensive... More

I always walk by this Stadium and finally got inside for the Friendly match between Brazil and Switzerland last year. Even though Brazil lost the match I was very pleased with all the experience. The stadium is super-well-organised and you don't have to wait in long lines to get inside or to find your seat. The structure is really well... More

We purchased tickets online and attended a match vs. FC Thun. We took the tram (free with tickets) from Old Town and arrived to the stadium. It was a Sunday so the mall attached to the stadium was closed, but the team store was open (bought a scarf- might have been the only affordable thing we purchased in Switzerland!) and... More

From the outside it certainly does not look like a football stadium. It quite simply looks like a mess which I could well have passed by if it had not been for the crowds congregating outside. Inside, however, it is a good stadium with good spectator access, decent legroom and good sight lines. The food and drink was pretty average... More
