We loved our visit to the paper mill. You not only learn by seeing but by trying to make by yourself all the processes regarding paper, writing, printing embossing etc. I highly recommend to everybody

A brilliant museum and work space together, people still make paper, print and make books here. So you can experience all yourself. Passionate people! A must see when you're in Basel.

Just a really engaging museum. We were there for 3 hours and saw how to produce paper and all the printing machines during the ages!

The visitors have the opportunity to make their own paper from scratch, but also can try different techniques for writing (quilt, pen, stift, etc), as well as various printing techniques. The kids will love it and it makes a great day for the entire family!

Very picturesque part of this wonderful city. Go there and have a coffee. You will not be disappointed as you sit by the water wheel and listen to an old part of industry at work.

There was something for the whole family in this museum. My children especially like making their own paper and type setting their names into handmade letterhead stationary. The person working with the molten iron was interesting - really engaging.

A small museum with big potential, especially for children. You can observe and practice the paper making process, printing and other type of activities. Very interesting indeed, in the museum you find some book rarities.

We spent a few hours here. it`s hands-on and would be fun for all ages. We made our own paper and printed on the printing press. The information in the museum tells about the history of paper and writing. The exhibit on toilet paper from various countries was fun to read. While we didn't try the cafe, it looked very... More
