The BEST way to experience Basel! I can’t wait to treat my friends to the tour when they visit. Whether you are a visitor or resident, you will thoroughly enjoy the tour with a first-rate multilingual guide. After my first running tour with 18 students, I was hooked! And I am not even a runner. Increasing knowledge with each stride---Impeccable... More

The weather was perfect. The tour guided to different ineteressting historical spots. The guide was a very well educated, friendly student from USA, currently living in Basel. It wa spossibel to combine a bit of interval training climbing towards old city with listening to very interessting historical facts and mithycal stories about Basel.

I took a one-hour running tour of Basel earlier today. My very knowledgable tour guide was Austin (who is, coincidentally, from Austin, TX). He let me set the pace (which is pretty slow, I confess); we covered a little more than 5k in an hour, with plenty of stops for interesting tidbits about the sights and water (drunk out of... More

Absolutely great way to see the city in a quick and enjoyable manner. The tour guide let me set the pace and we had a very comfortable pace and talked the whole way. We had plenty of stops so it was not tiring but still managed a lot of the city. By walking or even driving the tour would take... More

Basel is on my last touring list after all the snow capped mountains and Alpine villages. We travelled through it several times but did not stay till last year during the visit to French Alsace wine region. Basel is sitting on the bank of Rhine River and sharing the borders with Germany and France. The train station in Basel actually... More

A colleague and I went for a run before a BIS conference with Austin, one of the guides. What a fantastic way to shake off the jet lag and learn something about the history and culture of Basel.... Can't recommend it enough....we did about 8-9K over the course of an hour. So interesting and enjoyable. I run about an 8... More

I booked a last minute trip to Basel to visit a friend for a week, so had no time to learn anything about the city before I left. I booked the running tour a couple days before I left for my first morning there. Easy breezy process from their website. Received a reply in less than 12 hours, and all... More

We were in Basel for Art Basel and had little time to see the city so we scheduled a 1 hour tour at 7:45 am. It was me and a friend of mine. Not necessary to be an athlete to do this so long as you can jog lightly and have no injuries of course. You can go at your... More

We had a fantastic hour, a nice jog that our guide Austin paced perfectly. Great overview of the old town with a lot of history thrown in. Recommended!

I highly recommend the running tour. I emailed the company for more information and they were very prompt at responding. It was very easy to reserve and corresponding with the company was simple. They are very flexible and willing to accommodate all ages and runners. We even walked at one point. Austin was our guide and he was very knowledgeable.... More
