I highly recommend the running tour. I emailed the company for more information and they were very prompt at responding. It was very easy to reserve and corresponding with the company was simple. They are very flexible and willing to accommodate all ages and runners. We even walked at one point. Austin was our guide and he was very knowledgeable.... More

I sent an email one evening and had the tour the next afternoon. Scheduling and logistics were a breeze. Then, we had the tour. It was phenomenal. We learned the city and its history in an awesome, healthy way. I wish this service were in Zurich (and every other city I'll visit in my life). More

My super guide Austin was well informed of the city's rich history and cultural curiosities. He kept an easy pace throughout our one-our run, stopping to explain significance of important sites. There are water fountains all along the run, so there is no need to carry a water bottle. Booking the run was seamless and it's definitely worth doing again... More

Was going to be in Basel for 4 days, coupla emails later it was all booked, easily and seemlessly. And, what a wonderful way to see and experience the outstandingly good, the bad and the (slightly) ugly bits of Basel. On my first tour, Austin took me throught the lovely, historic and central parts of Basel city, explaining the historic... More

City history and exercise at the same time. I spent 2 weeks in Basel and the hour I spent with my guide Austin was the most informative I had. From history of the city, little known facts, and places to go for food and entertainment, I got it all in during my run. More

I was visiting Basel from Australia on business for 2 days. I felt the best way to unwind after a 20 hour flight would be an outdoor activity. Googled Basel running Deans website came up. After a couple of email exchanges it was booked. I was 10k out of town so Dean arranged a run into town and then a... More

Perfect way to see Basel if you don't have alot of time or if you aren't sure what you want to spend more time seeing. It was a great experience. Denise, our guide was so friendly and knowledgable. Even if you aren't a great runner, they make sure you are going at a comfortable pace for you. More

I thought Basel offers little attraction until I joined Dean's running tour. The two hour experience was informative, exhilirating and showed Basel's rich history from earthquake ridden to a modern metropolis. To top it all you have a wonderful riverside jog and Dean's pace was flexible enough to cater for beginners to more advanced runners. Explanation of the city will... More

Sometimes running can get boring...but not with Dean and the Basel Running Tour. This is fun, fun, fun and you learn something at the same time. I felt like an expert in Basel history and stories after 1 hour of running. I am totally recommending it. Just do it and you can really impress your friends next time you are... More
