After traveling solo for a week, it was so nice to feel at home at Rafaella's farm and kitchen. The one day cooking lesson and ceramic/chocolate tours, that Rafaella organized, truly felt like an authentic Italian experience. She was very accommodating to my gluten free diet which now gives me the confidence and tips to make pasta and gnocchi with... More

After some detours to Valfabricca and other Umbiran towns we found the farm after helpful directions from the owner Raffaella. The farm is set in a beautiful valley not far from Perugia. We got settled in a nice apartment on the farm with a bedroom and a kitchen/living room. The cooking class started the following day and was held in... More

This was a great experience ..the setting and property is beautiful. Rafaela is a gracious host, very warm and welcoming. She made every effort to see that I was comfortable. Stefania is a great instructor , also warm and gracious. She shared her culinary skills and recipes with pleasure. Thank you Rafaela and Stefania ..

In the hills around Perugia, in a personal atmosphere we were taught in a few hours how to cook some very authentic Italian dishes. Raffaella and Stefania took good care of us and made us feel more than welcome. If you like cooking and eating, I would recommend this.

Partaking in an Italian cookery course in Italy has been on my ‘bucket list’ for a while. Wow, I am so pleased I chose Let’s Cook Umbria for the location following checking out the tripadvisor reviews. From start to end, Rafaella was the hostess with the mostest. The olde worlde apartments are fully equipped with fridge, hob, utensils etc. Food... More

The whole experience was enjoyable from arriving and going on a wine tour, to 4 days cooking, then hiring a car and touring the area including Assisi, Gubbio and lake Trasimeno. Raffaella gave us lifts, organised the car hire and much more. She was as lovely a host as you could wish for and Stefania, our cookery teacher was great... More

Touring the old towns of Tuscany and Umbria is fun, but our winter itinerary needed some variation and "Let's cook Umbria" provided the perfect diversion for our mixed-age group. We stayed 3 nights in the warm and cosy apartments. We had two cooking classes with Stefanie, who weaves professional chef knowledge into pragmatic homestyle lessons, carefully pointing out the essential... More

I had the best time imaginable. I learned and laughed and ate all with homemade wine. Doesn't get better than that.

We spent two days in a lovely apartment with a countryside view. The apartment was fully equipped, including foods for breakfast, as well as, a bottle of olive oil and wine from Rafaella"s farrm. We thoroughly enjoyed our two days of classes which included a 4 course meal and wines each day. We have since made several of the recipes,... More

Rafaella was super quick on my last minute request for a class and was able to accommodate us the very next day! The instructor, Stefania (?) was super sweet and funny! She really loved food and to cook and it showed!! The food was delicious, torta with stracchino cheese with rocket, homemade pasta with pork cheek, zucchini and saffron, chicken... More
