My husband and I had been to Assisi twice - once for a typical day tour, another on our own with a guide book. For our most recent visit we wanted insight into what Assisi is really about, not what tour guides and books all state word-for-word. We wanted to learn and experience Assisi's culture, food, people, history, and know... More

Anne was absolutely fantastic and made all the difference on our tour of Assisi. We had a group of 4 families with kids ranging from 3 to 10 years old. Anne was brilliant with the kids, and kept everyone engaged (adults included). Our farm-to-table lunch at La Fontanella was the perfect way to end of our Assisi. Can't wait to... More

I recently was in Assisi for a month in May and had the pleasure of a tour of Perugia and then a delicious lunch at la Fontanella with Anne in Assisi in the restaurant's picturesque garden. Anne's tours are always energetic, informative and fun, as she is. I had the pleasure of seeing Anne in Maryland in March when she... More

Anne's tour was a highlight of our Umbrian trip. We visited Assisi twice, once alone, once with Anne, the information she gave us brought the city alive. My 7 and 10 year olds really enjoyed her lively, enthusiastic commentary and keeping quiet in the church was no problem at all . Highly recommended, particularly for young children, Anne is brilliant... More

We engaged Anne to guide three international groups of health care professionals through Assisi. Each group was diverse and around 15-22 people. Without exception, all participants were pleased with Anne's presentation. It was not only Anne's content from a scholarly and historical perspective, but also her broad perspective on contemporary Italian culture that made the guided walk through Assisi both... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Assisi with Anne, who is warm and engaging AND very knowledgeable about other experiences to join as well as Assisi itself. She was generous in providing suggestions for lunch, dinner as well as a 5-course wine tasting "dinner" in a nearby town. In particular, her tour of the Saint Frances basilica... More

My wife and I recently traveled to Rome and Assisi with 5 teenagers from our church youth group on their spiritual pilgrimage. A friend strongly recommended Annie for our time in Assisi. I sure am glad I listened. Annie was perfect for both adults and teenagers. Her energy, knowledge, and enthusiasm were great. Such passion for this area, its history,... More

English-speaking, high-energy, wildly knowledgeable Anne Robichaud knows Umbria like the back of her hand. She ought to -- she's married to an Italian, has been living in Umbria since the 1970s and is the only American tour guide licensed to take travelers through ALL of Umbria. I took my group of 9 to Assisi recently and had booked Anne a... More

My husband, 16 year old son and I took Anne's tour of Assisi today. She is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about the art, history and culture of this amazing place. The tour was educational, spiritual and fun! We all enjoyed Anne, her culinary abilities and her infectious love of Assisi. We will return to Assisi and hope to see... More

On June 2nd of this year my family comprised of myself, my wife, our son and granddaughter along with another lady accompanied Annie on her amazing walking tour of Assisi. We had been to Assisi twice before and had felt the aura of Assisi but knew that we had only scratched the surface. After our tour with Annie we all... More
