It's amazing to find this green space right in the heart of Siena. A community garden and orchard, with a small farm with charming goats, ducks, and a donkey or two. A restaurant with very nice classic Tuscan cooking.

An organic restaurant with a different view of Siena in the greenery of a Park/allotment. Menu was varied and the food was excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pizza only served in late afternoon evening

Yes, the gardens are very nice with a pen for goats, ducks, and many other little creatures. But in the center of the park is an excellent local restaurant with unbeatable prices. We had two pizzas, two beers, and a coke for 22 euros! The pizza was excellent. They do foccacia, pizzas, calazones, etc. Service was excellent. If you're looking... More

I was so thrilled to have discovered these gardens. We stayed in a hotel just near the hospital (ancient psychiatric hospital) and found that we could walk through the grounds of the hospital into the gardens and through to the market place in the city. It is the most enchanting walk. As you round a corner you suddenly get a... More

There isn't much to say about this garden/park, it's a pleasant place for a picnic, especially if you want to avoid the somewhat expensive restaurants in the town centre. It's a favourite with families, and there is a nice view (though nothing like the view from the top of the tower in Piazza del Campo) of the city.

Nice place to visit especially with children! It is a park inside the city with bathrooms facilities, a little fee if you bring your own food and want to have a pick nick there, or you can eat in the restaurant there. Children can play soccer on the grass or enjoy the animals, there are goats, donkeys, gees.. A really... More

Went for a meal on a Sunday night when they have a buffet for appetisers, a pizza (of your choice) for main and a drink for €15. The meal was worth that price and more and the waiter was very accommodating with language - patient and friendly while making sure everyone could be understood. We went as a couple but... More

We found this place while searching for green space among the stone of Siena, and what a find it was. The location is beautiful and the restaurant is very cute. It is situated on a productive medieval farm away from the city activity. The food was very good. The Margherita pizza was fantastic but I highly recommend the linguine with... More

We came across the garden by accident....peaceful setting close to the centre of Siena. It covers a large area with a medieval garden, restaurant and some farm animals. We only had time for a coffee which was good and very cheap. You had to get the key from the restaurant for the toilet facilities and they were so clean, plenty... More
