Went in and enjoyed the silence within the walls. The building was nice and made a great family picture. Thank you for allowing us to be apart of this

We were intrigued by the stories of St Catherine and were not disappointed. The cathedral is fairly plain compared to the duomo, but an interesting ceiling and unspectacular stained glass.

There was a miracle attributed to the Eucharist there. Do you need more than that? They have masses there in a small chapel. Beautiful and underrated because of the incredible sites in Siena.

This is absolute one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen in my life. The interior is breathtaken.

Not on the basic tour route, but a pleasant diversion, with a bright, open piazza. Some nice art, not grandiose.

This is the church of 1226 associated with St. Catherine. Her head is preserved in a gilded tabernacle. My own preference is to have by head buried or cremated with the rest of my body. the church is built of red brick in contrast with so many of the churches in surrounding towns which are built of stone. the best... I went to Sunday Mass here, and the square offers a great view all around. It is a very short walk down, a sharp left turn down the alley called Via dei Rossi and straight down. There are many restaurants in the area as well, as well as nice gelato places.

Grand space, lovely central altar. Some interesting frescoes and paintings. Unremarkable stained glass panels. There is an interesting manifestation- or miracle- associated with this place of worship; communion wafers from the 18th century that had been stolen and later recovered are still uncorrupted; have not grown mouldy

The vast interior space within the four towering walls is decorated with impressive art work. Notice the stained glass windows and imagine what era each came from.
