Just finished a 3hr tour with Barbara, walking around Siena. Glad I found her on here and we did this. The town itself is very quaint and worth a visit. We are staying here just one night, and while is can probably be very nice just wandering around the cobblestone streets and alleys and wiling away a few hours sitting... More

We were only in Siena for 2 nights and wanted to get a good understanding of the city and it's history and I found this site on TripAdvisor a couple of weeks before we visited and had never had a private guide before so we were unsure of what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised. Our guide Barbara met... More

Barbara was fabulous! We did a full day tour with her and she provided so much insight and education we never could have gained on our own. Walking this beautiful city was the best way to truly experience it and having a friendly, enthusiastic resident of the city to narrate all we saw and share her personal experiences with us... More

Center of study for one of the best universities in Europe, it is not just recognised for the quality of study, and even for greatness and structure of the buildings of the medieval times. the Cities like that it's part of culture of the great Roman imperium who ruled the south Europe for more than 800 years. Barbara did an evening tour for me, and after spending time with her I felt as though I really understood the people of Siena. I was even explaining the finer aspects of the Palio to other Italians later in my trip! Siena really has a very interesting history with respect to the 17 contrade, and everyone born in Siena belongs... More

My mother and I had only 1 day to spend in Siena. That's why I chose to hire Barbara as our guide. It was by far the best decision I made during our 10 day trip to Italy. Barbara has such an intimate and personal relationship with the city. She brings the history and culture to life. Siena is an... More

I have to recommend so lovely accommodation during the stay in Siena. Its garden is really the most beautiful! I love this place. CHE VOGLIO VIVERE IN... More

Barbara did a fantastic job of conveying the rich history of Siena and the values of people who live there. Siena appears to be trying to hold on to a sense of community and to keep a focus on family values. Something that many communities are at risk of losing. Barbara has a wealth of knowledge to share concerning all... More
