Beautiful historic architecture

stunning historic architecture and so beautiful set in the piazza, this ancient area remains untouched and is so interesting, and very photogenic!

The view from the top is wonderful. The first 3 floors of the stair well are narrow but it opens up after a few turns of the tower. Siena must!

Awesome three hundred and sixty degree views of the City of Siena. Entirely worth the climb and the cost of a ticket. Highly recommend!

The views are outstanding, no doubt about that, but if you can visit some of the best museums in the world for less than 20 euros, asking 10 euros to climb a tower is not fair. A bit of a hassle that you need to deposit your bag before going up but stairs are so narrow that it makes sense... More

The view from ground level is a pleasure more if you are up in the tower. You will see the shadow of the tower casts a shadow onto the open grouond in front of it. This is a sun dail as the grouond has tile while lines to mark the time.

We bought our tickets and went and had lunch and returned at our tour time. We went through the very small door and up to the locker area and left our bags there (there is a toilet there) . Then up and up and up. There are several places to stop on the was where other people can just get... More

So much history here. What else can I say--just go see it. The day we went a civil wedding was being held--what a place for a wedding. they looked so happy even on a hot hot summer day.

This climb is so worth it for the view. At the beginning there is a very narrow part but it does widen out and feel less claustrophobic! Don't do this if you have health concerns as in the heat it could be quite taxing!

We paid 10 Euro to climb to the top. It is well worth it and is not a terribly tough climb. It is one of the best ways to get a great view of a great city
