We have taken several tours with TWS over the past few years and every one has been excellent. We have now done the foodie walking tour of Siena twice and loved both of them. Rebecca and her team are friendly, knowledgeable and FUN! We tasted meats, cheeses, honey, olive oil and awesome angel wing cookies from Mr. Bini. This is... More

We had a day in Siena, so rather than driving to wineries, we decided to go to the Tuscan Wine School. What a great idea. This is a delightful combination of education about Italian wines and tasting of some unique varietals. We love wine but were a bit ignorant of how to identify good Italian wine. Not any more. And... We booked the class online the same morning and have to agree with the comments on having plenty of time to park and find the school - but once there we had an amazing experience and fully agree with the review of our 'classmates' from Ohio .... Sofia did a fabulous job and we could have gone on for hours... More

We had a wine tasting with Sophia at the Tuscan Wine School. There were three other people there with my husband and I, which made for a very warm and intimate class. We learned about the history of the winemaking and details of how wines from Italy are made and rated. We tasted some wonderful wines and of course were... More

While in Siena, my wife and I had the pleasure of experiencing "Savor Siena" and "Tuscan wine" at the Tuscan wine school. Both were well done and fun and as this was our first time to Tuscany, a great introduction to the local foods, olive oil and wines. I particularly liked savor Siena, as we walked around the city tasting... More

The class was very informative and interesting. I enjoyed learning about the black rooster. Unfortunately the day we visited was so hot and the room we sat in was not cool. Drinking wine in a very warm room made me uncomfortable if not sleepy. The portions on the wines tested was generous. We appreciated the speaker and the information greatly!

My husband and I went to a 4 PM wine tasting. It was a terrific way to end a day of sightseeing. There were plenty of excellent wines to taste and the presentation was excellent. We learned alot about the grading of Italian wines, the different areas of the wine region and what they produced and the history of Tuscany.... More

I learned a lot at the Tuscan wine school. I didn't know anything about Italian wines before my trip. The host was very funny, she kept the class moving along well.

We were looking for a wine / food experience in Tuscany that was informative and "short" as we only had 3 days in the Tuscan region. Ideally we would've loved to do a 3 - 4 day stay in Tuscan Villa but once we found the Tuscan Wine School it was just the thing for us. Sofia was our teacher... More
