We did the Savour Siena and Tuscan Wine classes with Rebecca and Sophia. Both fluently English and highly approachable. Wine class very interesting and fun. Learnt about the region, culture, grapes; tasted 1 white, 3 red, and 1 dessert (generous pours). This class gave me a very good overview of the wines of the region, how to read the label,... More

We booked the "taste of Siena" because we were traveling with our 16 year old son and boy glad we did. You start with a brief history of Tuscany and the surrounding areas and then move on to tasting breads, cheeses and honey. They also served my husband and I Prosecco and wine which was delicious! We then visited three... More

If you love drinking wine but aren't sure what to look for at the liquor store or restaurant, this is the course for you. Two hour class on Italian and Tuscan wines, well worth the price. We tried five wines (one white, three reds, and a dessert) accompanied with a little bread, cheese and chocolate. Very generous with the "sample"... More

Like food? Like wine? (And if you don't why are you in Tuscany?) - then this is s great way to spend an afternoon in Siena. Ask especially for Sofia as your guide. Her passion for the subject, and for the people, was matched by authentic knowledge, especially for the wine. We had a warm welcome, tried food and drink... More

We so enjoyed our two hours with Sofia on the Savor Siena tour. The information was full, yet concise and well-presented. For any visitor to Tuscany, I suggest experiencing this tour early in your trip so that you can more fully enjoy all the gastronomical offerings of the region.

I can only echo what others have already said. We took part in the Tuscan wines session 4-6pm and tasted 1white, 3red and my favourite the dessert wine (and chocolate). Sophia is a fabulous and informative host, great value for money!! I only wish we'd managed to get to the morning food and wine tour

We started our day with Savor Sienna, a wonderful walking tour of local butcher, coffee shop, gelato, and bakery where we got tastings at each and then more back in our classroom. Our tour guide, Sofia, was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. We then took a 2 hour walk exploring Sienna on our own then went back to the Tuscan Wine... More

We did both the "Savor Sienna" and the "Tuscan Wine" lessons in one day. The 2 are perfectly complimentary of one another and both are highly recommended. Savor Sienna involves a delicious lesson about the history and culture of Tuscan food (with yummy tastings) followed by visits to a butcher, a coffee shop and a gelato shop. Tuscan Wines involves... Sophia was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the delicious food of Siena and Tuscany. The tour gives you cheese, bread, cold cuts, wine, truffles, balsamic vinegar, local salt, olive oil, caffe, cookies, panforte, chocolate, and a charming insider view. Wonderful.

My husband and I attended the Siena food tour during our 5 day stay in town. Sofia was our guide and was extremely knowledgable about local foods, wine and the history of the region. She was gracious and helpful in recommending activities and local shops/restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area. I... More
