This was a great way to spend our afternoon in Siena. Siena is a wonderful city, just a short bus ride from Florence, but there is only so much to do. By joining this tour we were able to taste the best food & drinks made in Siena. From meats & cheeses, to wine, gelato, and coffee, we got to... More

Very informative and yet very entertaining. Excellent wine tasted, with a dash of olive oil thrown in (not into the wine!).

We stumbled across the Tuscan Wine School by accident. Each day they offer a food tour from 12-2 and a wine tasting from 4 -6. We elected to do both, and had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon learning about Tuscan food and wine. We left thoroughly fed, beverage-d and educated.

We did the wine tour the day we arrived in Siena. We read about the school in Rick Steves book on the way to Siena and were very excited when we were able to get into the class that day because we had not made reservations ahead of time. It was a very fun and informative couple of hours. This... More

We were the only two in the class and we had a great experience. Learned all about the san giovese grape. Tasted 5 wines with an olive oil tasting interlude. Very friendly and unpretentious.

The Taste of Siena tour was a welcome departure from the seemingly endless art and architectural adventures of Italy. Our host was extremely welcoming, kind, and informative. The two hours spent in her company were both educational and delicious. We left with full bellies and enlightened minds. Thanks Tuscan Wine School!

The tour group was small which made it easy to speak with our host, Sarah. She was so informative & relaxed. The tastings & pairings were thoughtful & opened our senses. Like any business, this company provides tours + local products for sale. There was no pushy sales. We purchased what we liked. The prices of wine & goods at... More

The school is small and intimate. The teacher makes you feel very welcome, very friendly and a great selection of wines to taste.
