You get a free handset with your ticket, explaining what to look at. Look out for the delicate Madonna of the Roses

The museum pales in comparison in comparison to the basilica and did not really capture our interest. We spent only about 15 mins here so it's not really worthwhile for us.

We were a little disappointed with this. Not very much to see and a little repetitive. As a non catholic, it didn't make a lot of sense to me - i didn't know what some of the pieces were. However, some of the pieces were very old and I could appreciate the history.

What an incredible display of wonderful sacred art, The wooden crucified Christ with two saints was awe-inspiring.

We toured the museum as part of a ticket package to visit La Collgiata (Il Duomo). The art spanned centuries and was presented in ways that allowed the visitor to get up close. The vestments on display were beautiful as were the many monstrances.

It looks as though the church took all the old stuff they don't use anymore and put it on display. Very few items worth seeing. Worse yet, if a church is going to put a reliquary in a museum, it should remove the relics first. Relics do not belong in a museum. The museum entry is included with your ticket... More
