My mom and I had the best time taking the expert cooking class at Il Vicario; we were there for many hours learning how to make pasta from scratch, different sauces, and a plethora of other true Tuscan dishes that were amazing, including two different chicken dishes!! The wines paired with each dish were delicious as well. A fantastic afternoon... More

This class was so informative and fun! We learned to make 7 new dishes, with complete explanations as to why you did things. Katia and Fulvio were warm, fun, and interesting. The food turned out delicious and I will use these cooking methods daily!! You must try this course!

We were a family of 4 with two children ages 7 and 10. We had a great time at the cooking class. Katia made it very enjoyable. I loved the personal experience. Also just having only us it's great. We made homemade pasta, sauce and chicken. We get recipes for almost all the things. Katia is going to email me... More

We had a wonderful time at the cooking course as part of our honeymoon. Katia was lovely and explained everything really well - by the end of the afternoon she felt like an old friend. The day was really well structured and there was enough time to prepare and eat the food (and then make some more room before you... More

Our group of 4 (a grandma, mom, and 2 teenage girls) had the best time at this cooking class! Katia was absolutely delightful and made us feel like family. The length of time for the class (not too long/not too short), the class size (small enough to be hands-on and get to know the other participants from around the world),... More

Dear friends from the beautiful Seattle, Thanks so much for the review and for the nice words you wrote. I'm happy to know everything was fine, from the time of the class and the numbers of people in the class, but most important that you'll be able to do again the recipes you cooked here. Please, keep cooking once in... More

First off, the area is just beautiful...Katia was kind enough to drive into town and lead us back to the location instead of giving directions. The background that was given and the general information on top of the techniques and recipes are invaluable. This was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to learn... More

Ciao and thank you for your review. As i usually say, the food isn't only to feed your stomach; food in Italy is tradition, culture, history and I'm happy you bring home some more knowledge about Italy. Ciao Katia More

When we returned home to the US, we could not stop talking about our amazing, fun, interactive Tuscan cooking class. We really enjoyed our time, and learned how to cook a meal that I believe I will be able to replicate at home (we will see!)! Katia was a great teacher. We really loved talking with her and learning about... More

My travelling companion and I booked a cooking class at Il Vicario based on previous reviews on Trip Advisor and I can say we were not disappointed. We drove from San Gimignano and somehow managed to get lost. A phone call later, Fulvio drove out to find us and guide us to Il Vicario. There were only the 2 of... More

We really enjoyed the cooking class with a very friendly and lovely Katia, especially the homemade Pici pasta was great. We made some Bruschetta, a salad with Tuscan bread, two simple types of pasta sauces (tomato with garlic and beans with cheese) and Saltimbocca which is meat cooked in sweet wine. We learned a lot about the different ingredients and... More

We took the cooking class recently (2 couples) and it was a wonderful experience. We arrived early and Katia offered us coffee and cake while we waited for others to arrive. We learned some recipes that we will make at home. There was too much to eat, but all delicious. I would recommend this cooking class!
