Best part of my trip. In a BNB just a few miles outside of San Gimignano I took a cooking class. I was traveling with my sister, but they grouped us with another family of 6 people. I learned so much and had such a great time. The cost was 90€ and that was for the class (hands on) 4... More

My husband, aunt and I took the beginner's cooking class with Fulvio. There was one other couple in our class. It was a fantastic experience. Fulvio is an excellent teacher- I wanted to write down everything that came out of his mouth because he had so many great tips! The kitchen was simple and really demonstrated that you don't need... Katia is an amazing cook and an inspiring teacher. She showed us how to cook great italian dishes while at the same time providing expert advice and tips on how to handle the ingredients, what to do (and what not to do). The tips are priceless, and we got typed recipes at the end. The experience was so much fun;... More

What a treat! Just last week my son and myself and my friend and her son attended the beginner's cooking class at Il Vicario. From the moment we arrived there was a warm and friendly atmosphere and somehow we knew straight away that it was going to be most enjoyable. Katia who runs the cooking class is an absolute delight.... More

Wow, what an amazing day spent with Katia in her kitchen in Il Vicario. We arrived on time and spent a short time outside, enjoying the scenery while we had a coffee. Katia asked us what we would like, after which she took a short time to prepare. We had already given her an idea of what we would like.... More

Katia is amazing, so warm and friendly which makes the whole experience so great! We took the 5:30pm class and had the courses for dinner along with some wine. Very relaxed, very interactive - exactly what we wanted!

We had a great time in our Tuscan Cooking Class with Fulvio. We had 4 adults in our group. When we first arrived, Fulvio offered us a seat "in the shadow" outside as we were a little early. Katia was not there in the beginning...Gregorio had a Dr's appointment. What a precious baby! The recipes were top notch, the wine... More

We absolutely loved our day of cooking in Tuscany. Katia and Fulvio were so enthusiastic, passionate and energetic, making for a fun day. Great authentic dishes, hands on, we loved it. Katia's knowledge of the region food and wine was exceptional. Highly recommended. Her little tips will be remembered and used when we get back home. Great value.... Can't recommend... More

My wife and I don't have words to express our appreciation to Katia and Fulvio for their warmth and sincere hospitality. We had a wonderful experience during the advance cooking class. In addition to enjoying the pastas of our labors, we enjoyed learning about genuine Italian and Tuscan cooking traditions. Katia is an excellent teacher and you immediately feel like... More
