Wow, what an amazing day spent with Katia in her kitchen in Il Vicario. We arrived on time and spent a short time outside, enjoying the scenery while we had a coffee. Katia asked us what we would like, after which she took a short time to prepare. We had already given her an idea of what we would like.... More

Katia is amazing, so warm and friendly which makes the whole experience so great! We took the 5:30pm class and had the courses for dinner along with some wine. Very relaxed, very interactive - exactly what we wanted!

We had a great time in our Tuscan Cooking Class with Fulvio. We had 4 adults in our group. When we first arrived, Fulvio offered us a seat "in the shadow" outside as we were a little early. Katia was not there in the beginning...Gregorio had a Dr's appointment. What a precious baby! The recipes were top notch, the wine... More

We absolutely loved our day of cooking in Tuscany. Katia and Fulvio were so enthusiastic, passionate and energetic, making for a fun day. Great authentic dishes, hands on, we loved it. Katia's knowledge of the region food and wine was exceptional. Highly recommended. Her little tips will be remembered and used when we get back home. Great value.... Can't recommend... More

My wife and I don't have words to express our appreciation to Katia and Fulvio for their warmth and sincere hospitality. We had a wonderful experience during the advance cooking class. In addition to enjoying the pastas of our labors, we enjoyed learning about genuine Italian and Tuscan cooking traditions. Katia is an excellent teacher and you immediately feel like... More

Thank you Katia and Fulvio. Katia's no frills Tuscan home cooking is refreshingly non-touristy and obviously draws on years of home cooking....not necessarily the pasta dishes you find in restaurants. The Panzanella and the Figoli pasta were a stand out....but everything was top class. Katia was also great with the kids (8 and 6), she is a natural cook and... More

We had an intermediate class for 4 with Fulvio. What a wonderful day! He is a delight and is so well organized. We made many wonderful dishes (Saltimboca, panzanella, Bruschetta, tagliatelle with pancetta sauce, Farfalle with a lovely cannelinni/parmesan sauce, Tiramisu and more. It was my sisters' first time in Italy and they were completely charmed. Perfect mix of professionalism... More

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Set in a home near San Gimignano, Fulvio and Katia were both informative and entertaining in teaching us the true Italian way of cooking. You will probably need extra time to find their location in the Tuscan hills, but you will be glad that you did.

My 7 best friends and I took the beginning cooking class in September with a very pregnant Katia. Her easy going manner immediately made us feel at home and we thoroughly enjoyed her instruction. We especially appreciated the recipes she sent home with us so we could recreate the dishes in our own homes. The food was fresh, simple, and... More

First, don't make the mistake of eating a big breakfast. Second, even if you think you know where it is, ask again for directions! Third, relax and have a blast with Fulvio. He is a charming Italian man who will teach you the difference between Italian style and American style. Homemade pasta, bruschetta, garlic bread, and saltambocco. Simply amazing how... More
