Lots of olive and fruit trees, quiet apart from a harp player, was beautiful and views almost as good as the 5 euro tower. A must visit.

the Rocca is very small and remote from the center of town,so less visitors would go there.an age-old lookout platform overlooking San Gimignano.

Nothing special...beautifull garden with a well, but once you climb on the walls the view is amazing, specialy to see San Gimignano from here.

For those who don't want to pay 5EUR to go on top of of the Torre Grossa, The Rocca is the next best thing. It is shorter than the Torre, granted, but it still provides an amazing view into the Tuscan scenery, and it doesn't cost a thing.
