Like much of Italy, this was just simple but quality entertainment. Place was near San Gimignano and people were very friendly offering a local wine afterwards.

We were staying at San Gimignano and wanted to do some horse riding . Our hotel recommended this farm to us. What a treat this was and really a high light of our stay in Tuscany . Such friendly people who welcome you into their farm and made you feel at home. We only had a hour ride through the... More

Our family went today to ride horses and it was wonderful! Good tame horses who have obviously been doing this for years. Saw rows of grapes and fields of sunflowers! Staff was wonderful. Thanks! Fletcher Family

Tiziana and her family are truely the perfect hosts. They are so welcoming, generous, and the evening meals are not to be missed. You really get a true taste of the lovely Italian way of life. If you aren't sociable and don't like food and wine then don't bother going. We don't speak Italian at all but passed 3 hilarious... More

We organised horse riding for 5 of us here at Vecchio Maneggio prior to leaving Scotland and everything went really well - age range mid 20's to mid 50's. Enjoyed it so much we went back again during our week's holiday. Lovely safe and fit horses taking you through wonderful... More

We arrived as guests but left feeling like family. My husband and I had read the reviews and had no hesitation in booking 7 nights at Il Vecchio. Our expectations were high and I worried that we may be disappointed. NO Way. It is a fantastic experience and I would recommend a stay with Tiziana and her family ( Lisa... More

We stayed with Tiziana for 3 nights and man did we EAT! Both breakfast and dinner are served here and both offer a lot of food. Breakfasts are typical - pastries, fruits, cereals, tea, juices, honey produced on site - but dinners are where it's at! It's a minimum of a 5 course meal prepared by Tiziana (or sometimes her... We had a fantastic ride through Tuscany's vineyards and forests with the Il Vecchio folks and their great horses. Walking, cantering and galloping amid great scenery. Thanks!
