The view is breathtaking!

We came to listen to Bocelli. Instead we got served an opera. It was nice, but not what we expected. Ours seats was also to far from the stage, so it was not easy to follow. But... read more

Booked through Arianna and Friends, the whole event was tremendous - lovely setting, excellent organisation by Arianna's company and, of course, Andrea Bocelli. Only drawback is the delayed start - we were warned it would not start on time but 90 minutes late!. There are worse places in the world to await the start of a concert. The Italians arriving... We bought our VIP tickets from the voyage Prive website in May It was advertised as an Andreas Bocelli concert with absolutely no mention of it being an opera. We have been to several of his concerts before and were just expecting the same but in his hometown. It was not until the late afternoon of the concert that some... More

Like other reviewers I had planned our trip to TDS for years. We had great seats for the Aug 2 concert but the performance was a total disappointment. Bocelli's performance was ordinary and failed to engage the audience. Many people left before the concert ended. The general comment at our hotel was the concert was terrible. We travelled from Australia... More

I did not spend a huge amount of money to travel to Italy to see an Opera. The lack of information for the August 2nd tickets being sold was misleading. I was a huge fan of Mr. Bocelli before this night. Many left before the performance was over, my husband and I included. Buyer beware of all future ticket sales!... More

Bocelli was outsung by most of other singers in the cast. His harsh forced voice and lacking acting ability made him a comic character on stage. He made mistakes, had inadequare amount of air several times and only reached the high notes with great difficulty using painful force. No wonder that even his Nessun Dorma only earned him polite applause.... More

The whole opera was very nicely done, except for the sound system. The sound and video did not sync , hence did not do justice to the singing qualify of the performers.

We came to listen to Bocelli. Instead we got served an opera. It was nice, but not what we expected. Ours seats was also to far from the stage, so it was not easy to follow. But the place was fantastic. You can also buy wine, beer and food. So since we didn't get Bocelli for ourselves, the experience was... More

There are several bus companies that service TDS on concert day. What they don't tell you is that you leave your departure area late and arrive in the general vicinity of TDS 3 to 5 hours before the concert. So, you can spend money in Lajatico on food and drink which is what most people to do, or you can... More

I'm from Portugal, but I prefer to write in english so that everybody can understand my disapoitment. Last 2nd of August, I was in Teatro del Silenzio. I bought tickets last October, when the only show was "Andrea Bocelli and guests- 10th anniversary". In the beginning of this year, citysound or vivaticket, send me a message , to say that... More

Like most people writing their reviews we were disappointed, not in the Opera - we actually did know it was an entire Opera and thoroughly enjoyed the music and costumes. What we were shcoked at was the lask of organisation at this venue/event - listed as follows :- i. No signs to say the venue did not open until 6.30pm... More
