Not for the faint hearted or disabled, the open air amphitheatre is set perfectly in the Tusacan landscape. It's a long hot walk from car park uphill and down to be checked in by two ticket attendants for what was probably 5000 people. Then a very long wait in plastic chairs until the concert started nearly an hour after advertised... More

The weather was beautiful but the night was very disappointing. After spending years in our garden listening to Andrea Bocelli it was a dream to come to Tuscany to see the great man. I was emotional even on the way to Lajatico as I was filled with anticipation and excitement. Finally the day had come! We left our hotel at... More

Seeing this concert on DVD from 2006, my wife and I decided that where else to see Andrea for the first time is at this venue. We were sitting in the Seconda section at the front row and this is the worst, as people constantly walk by you throughout the concert, not sure why that is allowed, you can't do... More

What a fabolous idea to realize a theater like ancient Romans and Greeks! Every year spectacles are given in July thanks to Andrea Bocelli, our Italian international singer. A mention to the every year changing scene into the tuscan landscape. Don't miss to visit the nearby Lajatico.

-Please note that the picture with those big statues, are not there anymore. These are props that change from season to season-. Why is so beautiful to come here? For the panorama, and music of course! Here you are going to see the famous Tuscan hills we see in the movies and in photographs! The colors, the shapes, the different... More

This concert was a Christmas gift to my wife who has dreamed of seeing Andrea Bocelli live all her life. I read a previous comment of some people that travelled all the way from Australia. I thought I had it bad coming from Athens Greece. The concert area is a very nice setting, and I liked sitting outdoors, but the... More

Il Teatro del Silenzio is in a beautiful location.. Lajatico is the birth town of Bocelli and is a quaint truly Italian village in Tuscany. What more can be so amazing? And to listen to one of the most gifted tenors in his home region brings on the magic. For those complaining about the inconvenience/disorganization of the event, STOP! This... More

A friends 50th was our reason for attending the Pathos concert this year and although having scene many of the other concerts from Teatro del Silenzio before I went with an open mind as to what can only be described as a unique environment for which to here opera being sung.
