the whole cathedral is Marble which lacks in most of the cathedrals in italy ,, all four sides in huge ''Marbleous '' building, honestly from the outside it's more attracting than the inside.

We found the inside of Pisa's Cathedral to be more impressive than Florence's, however the exterior at Florence is better (in our eyes). The attraction is free, however you need to queue for a ticket to get in. It is well worth waiting for though.

Your ticket to climb the tower also covers entrance to the cathedral. This is a "must do" also. A very beautiful building in itself that must get relegated in importance being next to the Leaning Tower. It is huge inside, & it has the most amazing ceiling along with many other amazing features. The walls of the nave are covered... More

Cathedral is beautiful, located next to the leaning tower. Entrance is free, but you have to get tickets to prevent too many people enter at the same time. Knees and shoulders have to be covered, but cloth for this purpose provided.

You can't just leave after the Leaning Tower, you must see Cathedral of St. Ranieri. This church is so beautiful. It's worth of your wait outside. Must cover your knees and shoulders to get in. Don't worry, they have fabric that can lend you to cover them up ;-)
