Of course everyone wants to see the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa and it is even more impressive in real life than the pictures show but the charge of 18Euro each is outrageous and the biggest tourist ripoff we have ever seen. Entrance is time specific every fifteen minutes so that's as much time as you get for your money.... More

We drove from rome to milan so decided to stop in pisa to see the tower . To our surprise parking was easy just about a 2 block walk . And when we arived though the not so impresive gates we were blown away by what we saw . I was just expecting to see just the tower because thats... More

It was fun seeing the tower, but the church and baptistry are WELL worth a ticket. Wow, the architecture, statues, and paintings make you realize the sacrifice those poor people made to keep their priests, bishops, cardinals, & pope happy. The city of Pisa itself was a surprise, this big industrial city where the walled "inside city" of the church,... More

We had no problem in purchasing the tickets just half an hour before we actually went in. It is beautiful from the outside, but climbing the stairway to the top (not too difficult, you just have to lean to the walls in some parts) is one thing for the bucket list. The view from the top is amazing.

To be honest I was not sure what I expected but it took my breath away. The contrast of the white marble, green grass and crystal clear blue sky was a sight to behold. We arrived about 10.00 and it was not too busy but did get busier quite fast. The cafe's and shops nearby were ok, a little expensive... More

Everyone who goes to Pisa goes to see the Leaning Tower. It is great to see and get pictures snapped in the most unusual ways in front of it.... you can get ideas from the many travelers there doing just the same thing! The place is great, the environment is wonderful and you can return with a few souvenirs bought... More

Pisa is famous for one thing, but that one thing is pretty cool. Spend a half day and enjoy the Tower and Church. ...maybe do a little shopping. Walking to the top of the Tower is a must and very cool. I am so glad to have checked that off my bucket list. Strang thing? The McDonald's right outside the... More

Shame it is not more, it is famous but not as interesting as expected. Our coach driver dropped us at the coach park and then we got a bone shaker of a Noddy Train, what a bouncy trip was glad to get off it. There was a long walk to the tower would not say to disabled friendly, with the... More

When in Pisa of course you have to see the famous Leaning Tower. It is quite an impressive structure and the area surrounding it is very nice also. We didn't climb the Tower though I'm told you need to book in advance as tickets are timed. Watch out for pick-pockets when engrossed in taking your 'pushing-up the tower' picture.
