We did a half day tour of Pisa, with Albatravel Group Firenze (Gartours), which was booked by our travel agent. We left the bus and walked the distance to the walled area where the Tower, the Piazza del Duomo (and Cathedral), Baptistery and Cemetery were located. We opted to have the entry to the Tower included in our tour price.... More

I went to see this leaning tower in May 2013. People, its worth a quick look for photos to say that you saw it but beside that this is not impressive. My recommendation is not to stay in Pisa. At the train station they have lockers where you can store your baggage while you go take your photos. I got... More

The leaning Tower of Pisa is something to see in one's lifetime. The artistry is amazing. In pictures of Pisa, you only get to see the Leaning Tower, but when you are on the ground of the tower, you will see other beautiful building, shops and cafes. This tour was worth the price of the ticket but I must warn... More

We were surprised how easy it was to get a timed slot to visit the tower (albeit in May) but book as soon as you can. Make sure you get rid of your backpacks before you queue! There's a good view but it's the "doing it" that's a real 'must'.

Having read some review's which suggested this was average as a destination, we were pleasantly surprised, its a great spectacle, and Pisa is clean and pleasant. Theres a lot to see, though it was around 15 euros to go up the tower, which we thought was pricey, there were no queues so possibly not many takers.we combined it with a... More

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the many sites to see in Italy, and is one of the must-sees. Although I have never been into the tower, seeing it is enough! While you're there, go into the cathedral and have a small lunch in one of the restaurants nearby

It is an interesting leaning piece in well set square. There is a separate ticket needed to enter the Leaning Pisa. So wither you reserve it in advance or try to take tickets as soon soon as you land at Pisa

Love the area and the walk around the area to see the tower. So pleased I have made the effort to see the Tower and surrounding area.

Myself and my partner visited Pisa on a day trip from Florence; it was just under an hour on the train so not too bad at all. The main attraction for us was, of course, the Leaning Tower, and as we walked through Pisa to get there we became glad that we were just on a day trip as there... More
