The tower can be very crowded mostly with Italians taking photos of themselves not the views. The best vantage spot for the overall views of the city and country side.

All towers are good towers in Italy... they work off those extra calories consumed so you can eat more! This tower is great with a clock included and more room up the top than Guinigi. Combined ticket for both at 4 euro, with awesome photos from each to the other.

This tower is somewhat more centrally located. You can combine a ticket with the guinigi tower. Almost on top, you'll pass the clock mechanism. Aftre that, the tower gets a bit narrow. The top is quite open , somore room to walk around than at the guinigi

The steps are a bit steep but if you take it slowly you wont be disappointed when you get to the top and soak up the view. It is awesome. This is another perspective of the fabulous city of Lucca. Great to take photos and I took plenty. Try it, you will love the view.

Compared to the 'mega-cities' of Europe, Lucca's attractions were quite cheap. The clock tower was no exception, and I was very happy to spend the €3 to climb the tower. The views from the top are incredible. On a clear day, you can see all the way to the hills, and you get a magnificent front view of Guinigi Tower... More

From the Clock Tower in Lucca (entrance at Via Fillungo) you can admire the ancient clock bell system--worth the effort and some photos.

Tallest tower in the old town. Fantastic views. Can be a bit windy on the top. A little disappointing we didn't find out that you can get a ticket for this and 2 other towers until later. 4 euro for this tower. 6 euro for 3 towers.

What's not to like, not counting for the climb up that is :-), actually the steps are easily manageable with sensible depth and height, this is all about the view from the too after all. When you get to the top,it's well worthwhile and you will have burnt off a few calories necessitating an even bigger delicious Lucchese lunch or... More

a cheap option to see a new view and I believe a recent opening of a very old place- please don't miss it - the walk up 200 steps keeps you fit!
