Without a doubt one of the highlights of Lucca is the relaxing cycle round the walls of Lucca. You can stop off at any of the various cafes located on the wall or just off it. The bikes were good quality well serviced and at €3 per hour a great way to spend a few hours.

We rented a “double bike“ in Lucca and rode around the city, (some streets are off bounds, be aware). Lucca is a beautiful city, and the way to visit it is to rent a bike, climb the wall and ride around for a while.

This was a lovely way to experience the sites and people of Lucca. Our guide, Andrea, was wonderful and made sure we had a wonderful time. The ride started with a tour along the narrow streets of Lucca and then took us round the walls of the city. By that I mean, we road along the path that is on... More

Biking around the lovely town is our relaxing and fun experience. A good choice for visiting most attraction places in town.

32 km on a flat route that we all enjoyed! Followed by wine tasting at Fattoria Sardi Giustiniani. Perfect day!

We picnicked on the wall of Lucca before renting our bikes, so we saw a number of rental bikes pass by. Tuscany Ride a Bike had the best looking and most modern bikes base son our observations. We were not disappointed as we received quality 15 speed bikes and a lock for 3 euros an hour. We didn't need to... More

We really enjoyed our adventure with Tuscany Ride a Bike. We had two guided tours with Andrea one around the countryside to a farm and winery and the other to Pisa. We did two additional days with the GPS. Had a really great time. Andrea was great. The biking was a lot of fun and I would rate the level... More

My wife and I like cycling and decided that we would book the Thursday cycle and winery tour, we were very fortunate to have the owner Paulo as our guide and there was only the two of us. Perfect The cycle was very pleasant through beautiful countryside missing most of the main roads and only a few hills that we... More

we hired 4 bikes for 2 days to explore Lucca, Pisa and countryside. Paolo provided advice and download-able maps for our iPhones/Android. Had a terrific time, the bikes are top quality and we enjoyed it immensely. Tip: be sure and download an app to handle .gps files (plenty on web to download)

A stunning town, beautiful walks along the fortified walls with the option to rent bikes of all descriptions and sizes, the main Piazza was a lovely place to while away a couple of hours or so with great food and drink, can't wait to go back.
