We were four guys who had three days and two nights to spare in Tuscany, and contacted Tuscan Bike for a custom tour. The 390 euro we spend each, was worth every cent. Andrea and his team suggested to stay in Radda in Chianti. It was a wonderful place and the hotels that were picked out for us (Vignale and... More

We were only in Lucca for three nights but took a tour with Paolo one day and hired bikes on another. The tour into Montecarlo was excellent showing basic wine making in a traditional farm followed by a state of the art modern methods in a large winery. Lunch was provided and we really enjoyed the differences seen. The bikes... More

True, beautiful days, thanks to the places visited, the weather, the wine but also you helped to make it perfect. More

Everyhing about our interaction with Paolo at Tuscany Ride a Bike was fantastic! We emailed with him a few days before arriving in Lucca, as my husband and I wanted to do some biking but were unsure what the weather and terrain would be. Paolo made several suggestions of routes, tours and weather predictions - we ended up picking the... More

Too easy: Saturday banks and tax offices are closed and they do not call you asking money, no work required, alone with Chiara at the farm, customers who become friends after ten minutes. Unfortunately there are not many days of "work" so nice. More

The first thing we did when we arrived at Lucca was to hire bikes and cycle a couple of laps of the wall. A great way to get your bearings and assess the lay of the land. We hired basic Polo bikes and it was just €3 an hour. Make sure you have driving license with you as they keep... More

Unfortunately we did not read the reviews or research the many tour options at Tuscany Ride a Bike before we decided to hire some bikes. Instead we hired some mountain bikes for the full day (at a very reasonable 20€) and decided to ride to the Serchio River and toward Pisa. The ride was very beautiful but we had a... More

My husband is very serious about his cycling and Paolo took great care of him. We met Paolo late one afternoon to try out the bike and ensure the right fit. My husband brought his own riding shoes with him! Then they went out twice over the next two days, the first for 1 1/2 hours or so and the... More

We had a great bike ride along the river, past ancient Roman aqueducts, on top of the medival wall in Lucca and past Tuscan towns with thermal springs. Andres , our guide was informative, flexible and eager to please. We had a blast and highly recommend this tour. We wish we had time for others.

There is nothing better than enjoying Lucca by riding a bike. We roamed around inside the walls for many hours. It was such a pleasant experience.

We were on a cruise ship docking in Liverno Italy and we did not want to do the usual bus tour of Pisa offered by the cruise line. Paola the owner/bike guide of Tuscany Ride A Bike responded to my emails quickly and was very helpful. His English is excellent. We easily got two other couples after posting on cruise... More
