This is an interesting, but quite small, museum. It features many works by Della Robia, and paintings and sculptures by other Italian artists. Nicely presented on several floors. If you buy entrance with the combination ticket for the Roman theatre and gardens, it is less expensive.

Excellent small museum just off the main piazza and across from the entrance to the archaeological ruins. Just a few rooms of 12th century religious icons and a good collection of the ceramics of the Della Robbia family. Well presented and worth the few Euros if you love this stuff. You can purchase tickets from the tourist office just across... More

A very small collection that was worth seeing if it was free or a couple of Euros. However, in terms of value for money this defiantly was not the case . Disappointing .

Thank heavens it's a combo ticket with the amphitheater. Very small collection. A couple of paintings that made it worthwhile for my artist partner. We wouldn't have made a special trip for it though.

Small museum with a small room of Della Robbias. Nicely presented. Take some time to see the rest of the (small) collection.

The best part of this museum was the huge selection of religious icons dating back to the 12th century. They were displayed sympathetically in chronological order and very accessible to the viewer. There was also a display of wonderful ceramic pieces by the Dell Robbia family - all in excellent condition.

I went to see the Taddeo Gaddi Annunzione painting & had the place to myself. Amazing! Only a few rooms but full ofincredible 14-15C Italian art of the Florentine School. A few earlier pieces too. Highlight of my trip really... more so since I'd just had lunch at Piatti down the hill!
