Description:

Small group and private fully guided bike tours (single and multi-day) in...

Small group and private fully guided bike tours (single and multi-day) in the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. You'll pedal quiet back roads around Florence, Chianti, Siena, Val d'Orcia and elsewhere. Personalized service with pick up and drop off at or near your hotel. All fitness/skill levels and fully van-supported. Several rides to choose from for varied interests, including wine and olive oil tasting, gelato tasting, historic castles and off-the-beaten path medieval villages. First-rate equipment (and electric bikes too!). Ask about our new cooking class ride for foodies!

Florentine Marco Vignoli, a former bicycle racer, founded I Bike Tuscany. His wish is to share with you his passion for amazing scenery, adventure, great food and wine and, of course, biking. It's his belief there is no better or more exciting way to experience the singularly beautiful region of his homeland than from the seat of a "bicicletta," and so has worked hard to create some very special and unique itineraries that we're sure will have you believing the same.

We look forward to your joining us for a day (or trip) you'll keep in your heart, take home with you and never forget.

Elizabeth...she's the kind of person you want to beg to be your friend after she's done being your bicycle tour guide. My fiancé and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our day experiencing the Gelato Ride with her. Her professionalism (communicating with her for scheduling-meeting-etc. was a breeze), her hospitality (she did all the work to prepare our bikes... More

Today was a phenomenal day in an already wondrous trip to Italy. Marco and Lorenzo led us through the vineyards of Chianti, the natural beauty of God's creation a breathtaking counterpoint to Florence's man made masterpieces. The day was filled with fresh air, panoramic views, exercise, amazing food, wine, and olive oil. Marco and Lorenzo were informative, kind, and very... More

What a fun and memorable day we spent with Elizabeth on the Chianti II bike tour. We were two couples -- one young and one not so young -- that shared a fantastic day cycling through the Tuscany hills. Elizabeth was so knowledgeable and inspiring, not to mention fun!! And to top things off, she was a sommelier -- we... More

First let me say the guides were fantastic. Very, very thoughtful. The company even arranged for us to be picked up at our villa. The guides were attentive and helped us with what ever needs we had. However the day was spent riding on a path that I would not say was beginners to intermediate. Even my two professional athletes said... More

We were a large group with varying cycling abilities and Elizabeth was amazing! To start, she was excellent in email correspondence and answered all my numerous questions. The meeting spot was easy to find and all the bikes were all set up according to everyone's height. She had 2 helpers that day who were also very helpful. Our group truly... More

We had a wonderful time taking the Electric Bike Tour with I Bike Tuscany. Our guide picked us up at our Airbnb flat and then we were off, exploring little towns and roads that we would have never seen on our own. The lunch also was wonderful---simple but so delicious with high quality ingredients. If you are questioning whether you... More

A spare day in Florence allowed us to explore a more rural aspect of the area, so we came upon some day trips, one of which was a bike tour through the Chianti area with a small meal afterwards. Well, the small meal was more like a more than full meal in a local winery after the bike ride, but... More

There are not enough positive things we can say about this tour. So professional, so fun and amazing food, lodging and biking! We loved Marco! We stayed in gorgeous accommodations for all three nights that were prearranged. Our first day of biking we got rained out, but Marco was more than willing to offer other options (wine touring, site seeing,... More

My sister and I did the Chianti2 ride and it was the highlight of our trip. We climbed up the Tuscan countryside, ate lunch in a castle, and flew downhill down the winding Tuscan hills. It was a beautiful trip and we highly recommend going on a tour with I Bike Tuscany. Elizabeth and Paula were amazing guides. We hope... More

My family and I went onthe Gelato Tour Bike ride with Elizabeth. We had a wonderful time. The Gelato tasting was fun and unique. The ride is pricey, but it was a great way to see the countryside and break up all of the historic museum visits!
