Description: Small group and private fully guided bike tours (single and multi-day) in...
Small group and private fully guided bike tours (single and multi-day) in the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. You'll pedal quiet back roads around Florence, Chianti, Siena, Val d'Orcia and elsewhere. Personalized service with pick up and drop off at or near your hotel. All fitness/skill levels and fully van-supported. Several rides to choose from for varied interests, including wine and olive oil tasting, gelato tasting, historic castles and off-the-beaten path medieval villages. First-rate equipment (and electric bikes too!). Ask about our new cooking class ride for foodies! Florentine Marco Vignoli, a former bicycle racer, founded I Bike Tuscany. His wish is to share with you his passion for amazing scenery, adventure, great food and wine and, of course, biking. It's his belief there is no better or more exciting way to experience the singularly beautiful region of his homeland than from the seat of a "bicicletta," and so has worked hard to create some very special and unique itineraries that we're sure will have you believing the same. We look forward to your joining us for a day (or trip) you'll keep in your heart, take home with you and never forget.

We highly recommend a tour with I Bike Tuscany. We just finished our trip today in Chianti. The Castello di Brolio vineyard is stunning along with the restaurant and tasting room on the grounds. Elizabeth was our guide. She was friendly, informative and accommodating. She made the experience memorable with her vast knowledge of the region and wine. She even... More

Our group of 4 were picked up in Florence and taken to our first winery stop via a van. There we received our bikes and went riding for nearly 20ks (an all day excursion) through the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. It was one of the highlights of our 3 week Italian vacation! We visited three wineries that day! Marco and Lorenzo... More

Great ride in Tuscany with Elizabeth as our guide. We enjoyed a beautiful scenic ride with a very knowledgeable guide. Elizabeth provided a very safe ride, and her knowledge of the area, history and wine made for a very fun day: highly recommend!

I recently visited Italy with three friends. We visited the Piedmont area, a cooking school south of Rome, Tuscany and Venice. We booked a one day wine ride with I Bike Tuscany. This was definitely the highlight of the trip for all of us. This may be because we like activities versus just visiting sites. Mario, our driver, and our... More

We took a group of 10 high school Latin students to Italy, and Marco arranged an amazing day for our school group. He allowed us to customize the trip to suit our needs and interests, so after we were picked up by van in Florence, we were taken to a small town for a gelato demonstration and tasting (an unforgettable... My husband and I did the 'Florence to Siena' ride on November 11, 2014, and loved our experience. We had a somewhat rocky start, as we arrived in Florence and had trouble locating Elizabeth for a while, but we finally connected and the hours that followed far exceeded our expectations. The bikes were good quality, water and helmets were provided,... More

My husband am I had the best day with Paula. We booked a private Chianti ride. Even though it rained occasionally we felt safe exploring and were even given ponchos when it rained. Paula allowed us private time and was never far away. She's lovely and highly recommended. Our lunch at the castle and my first chianti. We bought a... More

Wow...The tour guide was amazing and the day way spectacular! Our tour guide, Elizabeth, is an American who has lived in Italy for 30 years and speaks fluent Italian, is an avid cyclist, a Somilier, and knows extensive knowledge about Italian history and the countryside. She has an excellent demeanor and was extremely patient with all of us! We had... More
