Description: Small group and private fully guided bike tours (single and multi-day) in...
Small group and private fully guided bike tours (single and multi-day) in the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. You'll pedal quiet back roads around Florence, Chianti, Siena, Val d'Orcia and elsewhere. Personalized service with pick up and drop off at or near your hotel. All fitness/skill levels and fully van-supported. Several rides to choose from for varied interests, including wine and olive oil tasting, gelato tasting, historic castles and off-the-beaten path medieval villages. First-rate equipment (and electric bikes too!). Ask about our new cooking class ride for foodies! Florentine Marco Vignoli, a former bicycle racer, founded I Bike Tuscany. His wish is to share with you his passion for amazing scenery, adventure, great food and wine and, of course, biking. It's his belief there is no better or more exciting way to experience the singularly beautiful region of his homeland than from the seat of a "bicicletta," and so has worked hard to create some very special and unique itineraries that we're sure will have you believing the same. We look forward to your joining us for a day (or trip) you'll keep in your heart, take home with you and never forget.

This bike tour (Tuscany) was more than I had imagined it could ever be. I am a runner, not a cyclist, but Marco adjusted everything on the bicycle and then taught me how to best use the gears to maximize my energy use. I got to watch him ride and imitate him; a great way to learn. Marco also watched... More

This was arguably the best part of my first-time trip to Italy. I was in Florence for a few days, traveling with 5 other friends and we spent one day doing this bike tour and visiting three wineries. We were picked up in a van in Florence, close to our B&B. Our driver and also bike repairer Rafael was kind... More

We spent 3 days riding with Marco and his team, and it literally could not have been better. They punctually brought bikes/helmets/luxury van to our rented villa on 3 separate days, the rides were fully supported. It was the perfect mix of route selection, local knowledge, wineries, trattorias, and spectacular bike riding. We asked Marco for some serious road bikes,... More

What a wonderful day riding the Tuscan hills! My dad and I had such a wonderful time with Marco. Our bike trip was exactly what we were looking for. From Florence to Siena we were challenged by the long inclines, and upon our victorious arrival in Siena we enjoyed a delicious meal at a restaurant recommended to us by Marco.... More

I highly recommend taking a trip with I Bike Tuscany. Today I rode 35 miles with Marco and it was so much better than going to a museum. Excellent tour guide and a very experienced biker that went at my pace. I saw a lot of beautiful countryside that I would have never seen. I can not wait to do... More

Marco our guide met us on the dot in front of our B and B for our electric bike tour on Sunday morning. We had been very much looking forward to this tour since booking our Italy holiday some months in advance, and Marco fulfilled all our expectations and gave that extra special touch to the tour. He was very... More

We had a lovely group trip to Sienna and another small town (whose name I've forgotten). The tour guide, Elizabeth Miller, was extremely accomodating and knowledgeable. The views were amazing, the wine tour to start us off was terrific, and there was time included to explore both stops. We chose the moderate option, which included some uphill at the beginning... We highly recommend a tour with I Bike Tuscany. We just finished our trip today in Chianti. The Castello di Brolio vineyard is stunning along with the restaurant and tasting room on the grounds. Elizabeth was our guide. She was friendly, informative and accommodating. She made the experience memorable with her vast knowledge of the region and wine. She even... More

Our group of 4 were picked up in Florence and taken to our first winery stop via a van. There we received our bikes and went riding for nearly 20ks (an all day excursion) through the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. It was one of the highlights of our 3 week Italian vacation! We visited three wineries that day! Marco and Lorenzo... More

Great ride in Tuscany with Elizabeth as our guide. We enjoyed a beautiful scenic ride with a very knowledgeable guide. Elizabeth provided a very safe ride, and her knowledge of the area, history and wine made for a very fun day: highly recommend!
