We had a tour/wine tasting/dinner here while on a tour through Italy. We were guided through the property, while given a great story of the history of the property, dating back hundreds of years, including a more recent history. We then sat down for a wine tasting, with excellent wine. A fantastic dinner followed, and we had a nice dessert... More

We attended Albert's new event "Adopt an Olive Tree" in November. Our fourth amazing visit to Trebbio. This was an awesome experience, raking olives on a beautiful sunny morning followed by the viewing of the olive pressing then tasting and then enjoying a beautiful dinner incorporating this golden oil into all of the dishes. Thank you Albert, you are always... More

We were really happy with our experience at Castello del Trebbio. Not only did we enjoy hearing the Renaissance history of the castle, but also the modern history of the family. You have to be impressed with the beauty, business model, and product of wine and olive oil being produced. It was the first and best excursion we books as... More

Chateau holiday in own cottage. Castello del Trebbio, a fantastic chateau located in the mountains 15 km outside Florence, hires out a number of newly renovated luxury holiday cottages. A brief historical introduction: ”Castello del Trebbio was built in 1184 by a family of bankers, the Pazzis, notorious for planning the assassination of the Medici brothers, Lorenzo og Guiliano (the... My husband and I took a tour through Northern Italy and I have to say my favorite part was Florence and Tuscany. Castello del Trebbio was so lovely. First of all, it is set in the most beautiful, picturesque country setting. The owner was very gracious and told us the history of the castle including a Medici raid. It is... More

We had been drinking Castello del Trebbio Chianti in the US for some time and happened to see an advertisement for two night stays at the Castle at our local wine store. We decided to extend our planned Florence trip by two days. It turned out to be a perfect way to rest from the flight and explore the Tuscan... More

This tour was the perfect amount of time, all day would be too much. Our tour guide was a close personal friend of the Castle Owner and she told some interesting current facts (since the family lives there) and some great historical facts too! They have amazing wine and a cute little gift shop. We purchased some olive oil that... More

We were lucky to get a seat on the bus to visit the castello del trebbio in the last minute.Usually these tours and fully booked in advance. But it was worth the anxiety. We were taken through the tuscan country side which was full of grape and olive farms along the hill, which was awesome by itself, through the narrow small roads & towns....
