My husband and I came upon Castello del Trebbio by accident when we were looking for a venue for our wedding and we couldn't have been more fortunate. The castle is absolutely stunning, beautifully maintained and with a fascinating history and jaw-dropping views. As a wedding venue, though, it really was amazing, and everyone there was extremely helpful, friendly and... More

I don't know why it has taken me this long to write a review about Castello Del Trebbio, but here I am. My husband and I visited the Castle during our honeymoon in January 2013 by recommendation from our good friend, Franco Fonati. He owns David 2 Leather Company in Florence, and he owns a villa just a mile from... More

We came there thtrough a cruise tour. We really enjoyed the visit. It was worth it. The castle is very old and the product we tasted were very good (wine, olive oil and a few other goods). The guide gave us some information about the conspiracy that sttod there. The guide also gave us a short course of wine tasting... More

Hola all, We visited as part of a shore excursion (from a cruise) and can highly recommend visiting as it was a highlight of our entire trip. We were greater with a small tour of the Castle and a history of its inhabitants. At the end we entered the tasting room where we sampled 4 wines, their yummy olive oil... More

You won't want to miss this place. We took a wine tour one day and came back for lunch the next day. Everyone is so friendly and passionate about what they do. The views alone are worth the trip but add on the wine, food and terrific staff and you have a superb experience! Can't wait to go back next... More

I agree with the former posts on this wonderful attraction. The castle is the home of a family that operates this business. The tour guide was a member of the family. The tour consisted of the wine cellar, and family quarters, with a brief history and room where the conspiracy to overthrow the government took place. Wine, olive oil, and... More

A side trip to Costello del Trebbio was one of the highlights of our recent Italian vacation. We toured the castle, the winery, and had a wonderful meal. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the food was authentic Italian and the wine was excellent. We would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling in this area of Italy.

We just spent three days in Florence this past May 2014 just doing the tourist thing. One of those days we took part of to visit Castello del Trebbio. The Castle staff arranged the transport for us to the castle from our hotel in Florence and took the time to explain the bus route for the trip back home. All... More

As the mother of the groom, I had no control of the site selection or any other selections regarding menu and settings, etc. Yet, I was not let down in any way at all. This castle setting and the staff were beyond superb! Food was beyond amazing! Wine was ... perfect! I will return for a visit soon.

As a side excursion on our wonderful Trafalgar coach tour we stopped for dinner, some wine and a tour at Castello del Trebbio. It was a trip into history visiting a Pazzi family castle and a fabulous meal accompanied by glorious chianti. The grounds were beautiful. the castle enchanting and ooh that chianti! Since we couldn't take the castle with... More
