Guilio is great

Loved this brewery. Guilio says everyone from USA ssys their city is beer city. We corrected him on that ans told him only Asheville NC. Is beer city No. one.

by chance alone a rainy evening, the manager showed me pictures of craft beers and, after a couple of tastings, I have tapped a couple of excellent. Music never too high, local not huge but nice. Note that I was pleasantly surprised: renouncing 7:00 to 8:00 drinks, he first requested a document to obvious underage, then refused to serve them... More

I walked over the river to visit this pub after a smashing afternoon at the Fiorentina match, to meet my partner at this recommended pub. The range of Craft Beers is excellent, and like any good pub, allows samples before you buy. I think about half of the beers were their own and about half were in from Liverpool, though... More

A small pub with a great variety of craft beers. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in exploring the craft beer culture. Not (yet :-) touristy at all.

Carmine, Giulio, and their third partner have created a small local craft brewery that is friendly, cool, and has great beer. I am not a beer drinker, maybe one to two a month. We stopped her every evening for seven days. Our daughter is in art school in Florence and many of the art students hang out here to talk... More

We stopped in because we had to wait for our restaurant to open. They had 10 craft beers on tap, around half their own brew. Tried their ipa and pilsner. Really good. The guy behind the bar was good game for craft beer talk. We had a nice time there.

Yes, of course, I was utterly thrilled to discover craft beer in "Wine Country." The bartender at Archea gladly offered us large samples of as many craft beers (on draft) as we desired. We were made to feel quite welcome. He also recommended nearby towns and best locations for both beer and wine in Tuscany. If you are a craft... More

Stumbled into this place late one night after a couple of days of drinking wine and/or watered down Peroni and Birra Moretti. This was a nice surprise and change of pace. Staff was friendly and they were generous with samples. Prices are reasonable. Archea is just across the river in the Oltrarno district which provides a bit of a more... More

A gem of a find in a beautiful city where wine is more common than water and beers are blonder than Californian surfers. Carmine, the Brewer, is more than friendly, the wait staff attentive, and has created a great beer in his Hydra IPA. He has a selection of guest beers from other Italian artisan brewers with the Menarestra Black... More

This place was down the street from our apartment. Really good beer selection - tons of IPAs and other interesting stuff from all over. Best part was the people - super fun and friendly. We stayed way past closing and played Taboo in Italian. Then we took some beer to-go.
