Based on reviews, I wanted to visit this store to find some good quality affordable items. All they had in the store were purses and gloves. Nothing else. The prices did seem to be better than on the main drag of the public square.

So after doing research and learning about the many non-Florentine made items from San Lorenzo Market, I came across Roberta's shop frequently on many blog posts and here on tripadvisor. It was such a highly rated place that I had to stop by as soon as I arrived in Florence- and Roberta's definitely holds up to the hype. Such amazing... More

I read these reviews and bought two bags here last summer. Since one was a gift for my daughter, I kept taking photos and sending them to her, and the salesman was most gracious about that. I waited six months to write this review just so that I could report that not only have the handbags held up beautifully, but... More

If, like me, you have your heart set on leather gloves, do not hesitate to shop in Roberta's. You will find silk lined, cashmere lined, or unlined gloves in the most sumptuous colors. Roberta, herself, waited on me and was careful to give me a thorough and precise fit. Her service is attentive without being pushy and the prices are... More

We only had 2 days in Florence, so after visiting the obligatory sights, shopping time was very short. Read excellent reviews so decided to vist Roberta's. it was a little tricky to find as it is off the main strip of Ponte Vecchio. After viewing the array of gorgeous gloves and scarves next door,I decided on a lovely black bag of... More

We found this little shop on a walk through over the river and around the area. Great store. Terrific customer service. Wonderful find in Florence for handbags and small leather goods.

I was so excited to find this store while in Florence, Italy. We saw all the awesome reviews and decided that it was the place to go. We were so happy to find Roberta's! I bought multiple beautiful products and had multiple belts made. (we went back 3 times!!) It was awesome to have a belt customized to my size... More

I first visited the Roberta along Borgo San Jacopo and was served by a man who was somewhat helpful. However, when demonstrating that the leather is soft, he used both his hands to stroke the wallet I was holding as well as my skin. He then asked me 'do you like Italian men?' While their leather products are beautiful, this... More

My name is Susanna, and I would like to respond to your comment as owner of Roberta Firenze. I would first like to state that the man you mention absolutely does not work for our company. He sells leather jackets in a nearby store. He was technically paying me a “friendly” visit… and I had no idea he was making... More

I went on the mere facts of what's written on trip advisor about Roberta. I was with a tour group and they went to another leather store. I decided to shop with three other acquaintances at Roberta. One thing I feel comfortable about... this is not the place they play around with prices. I bought a leather bag...while other stores... More

After window and bazaar shopping for two days in Florence, I finally saw beautiful, colorful leather gloves and luscious scarves in this store window. Inside I was greeted by a charming Italian owner who proudly descends from at least one generation of craftsmen who sold the merchandize in this store. The beautiful patterns are designed personally by him. I was... More
