I have been to Florence several times and love the culture and museums. The uffizi is an incredible museum and an absolute essential when visiting the city. Sadly the Vasari corridor is an expensive waste of time. The pictures are nothing special and feel like an after thought. The corridor itself is very basic. It is nice to have seen... More

This is a paid attraction about 85 Euro for a small guided tour into the private passage used by the Medici Family. It starts inside the Uffzi Gallery and last a couple of hours. We did not visit the Ufizi but the tour gave us in insight as we had to go through it and our guide explained most of... More

I took the tour of the Uffizi Gallery and Vasari Corridor, which costs 85 EUR and takes around 2.5-3 hours. The price is quite steep but our guide was Barbara and she was sensational! She clearly knew her stuff which she delivered in a very approachable and charming manner. Her insights into the world of art and history were presented... More

Not generally open to the public, the Vasari Corridor was part of our Tauck tour of Florence. Thanks to the wealth and power of the Medici family, the world has a chance to see what various artists looked like since the majority of art hanging on the walls are of self-portraits of well-known Renaissance painters. Just taking the private corridor... More

This is an absolute must for a private group. You have the chance to learn about the great Medici Family and walk their private corridor. The corridor also has a selection of interesting contemporary are. It is wonderful to walk over the Ponte Vecchio and see another angle of Florence!

It was a welcome escape from the busy tourist areas of Florence. The corridor itself would mean little without the guide, unless you knew a lot of art history, as it is filled with paintings. An eccentric man called Mario lead our tour of about 12 people. He was excellent and really made the trip worth the cost.

The visit to the corridor itself was well worth the price and planning; the guide was excellent; the collection and the unique views of the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio are very special. The Uffizi is very, very crowded in mid-afternoon; it would be better to come much earlier to the museum than to see it as part of the... More

We booked a tour of the Vasari Corridor with Viator and met up outside their Florence town office. There were about 12 people in our party with a guide called Mario who was both knowledgeable and eccentric. You can't visit the Vasari Corridor unless you are part of a pre-booked group this tour took in some of the Uffizi as... More

I booked this excursion 2 weeks before flight, the price was 58 euro, but it was incredible - very interesting! And there are no a lot of people as in Uffizi gallery. We had an english-speaking guide, so inormation was quite useful.
