We were so disappointed at our evening at what we thought was the Duomo. The singing was very good on this tiny stage but it was wasted. The production did their best, but with every interval more and more of the audience walked out unhappy. This was marketed as a proper opera and we expected as much, after all the... More

La Traviata - Giselle Baulch as Violetta - unbelievable ! Voice ! She is the great actress. We were deeply impressed by her talent. If you can understand music and charming voice of Giselle - you would not write something about size of Auditorium or quantity of musicians in quartet plus piano.

I watched "La traviata" in a saturday evening and enjoyed the show. It was not the best opera performance of all times, but it was a fair performance. A group of 5 musicians and 6 or 7 singers did their best, and the result was not bad. Some of them were very good indeed. I recomend it.

Everything about this event and place is false! They advertise a full scale opera, whereas one finds himself / herself in a small, informal auditorium with an orchestra consisting of a piano, a single violoncello, a single viola and two violins! That's all. Just five musicians! And equally few singers! Just when the performance seems to be started, first break!... More

The photo of a Grand Opera House is just a false advertisement in my opinion . I should have known from the price ?? But it being informal may be what some it needs to be . After all most all are simply tourists and we do not carry our finest clothes in the one suit case we are allowed... More

We visited Florence at the end of November for my wife's 30th birthday. It was a surprise trip and I'd planned a few things, going to the Opera being one of them. In hindsight, I should have read a few more reviews and got an idea of what the place really looked like, but to say that we were disappointed... More

I had the wonderful opportunity to see La Traviata when traveling through Florence in October 2012. Small auditorium which was very nice! Beautiful voices and live musicians were great! Nothing like seeing an opera while in Italy! This is a must see while in Florence. I recommend this to everyone that has passion for performing arts.

I attended a Traviata performance in April and returned to Florence again in May returning to the auditorium to watch Rigoletto. I very much enjoyed both productions... great voices and ensemble! I hope to have the opportunity to attend another of your performances when I visit Florence again.

Truly a wonderful performance by all involved. The small cast made it a more personal experience. This performance made our trip to Florence that much more enjoyable. I am already looking forward to returning and catching more performances! A great cast and great musicians!
